Number one concern is cleanliness, the room was clean. The reason for the 3 star rating was a general condition of sloppy workmanship on room repairs. Wall repairs were plastered in, but not close to being finished to match the wall. There was a hole in the wall where the door handle hit. You could see that it had been repaired before. Just above the damaged area was a stopper designed to prevent damage. The handle hit below the stopper. Water pressure in the wash basin was low. The bathroom fan was noisy. Did not appreciate extra charge for ground floor. No one item brings this rating down to average. Just general conditions. Does not meet quality that I have experienced in other Quality Inns.
I stay at this Quality Inn 4 times a year on my trips from Ohio to Texas for the last 10 years. The entire staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are always clean and have recently been updated with new furniture and TV's. Affordable rates and within walking distance to many restaurants.
The staff were very nice and the room was worth the price. The hotel is in a good location and the bed was comfortable. I thought that the breakfast could have had a few more items but for the cost of the room it was OK.
Rented 3 rooms. I stayed in a double. I’m pretty sure the beds were fulls, not queens. When we asked for a ground floor room we initially told that was an up charge but it was waived. Stains on tub tiles and on the mattress pads. Pillows below average. Location was good: directly across the street from Cracker Barrel.
We have stayed here 3 times now, the last time was last week as we were going to KY to be with family and getting away from Irma. Each time we have been pleased with our stay. It is an older hotel but well kept and clean. There is a very nice breakfast. The staff is very friendly.
This is an older hotel just off of I-65 at AL 157. It is clean and well-kept. The rooms are nicely furnished. The rooms have outdoor entrances, but the area seems safe enough. There are a number of chain restaurants at this exit. The bed was a little soft for my taste. Breakfast offerings were so-so. No real problems to speak of. Could not access their primary wi-fi network, but the lady at the front desk directed me to their alternate network with which I had no problems. There are a number of newer hotels at this exit and some comparison shopping might be wise before booking.
This is a nice little motel. It's clean and the people are friendly. On top of that there is cold ice water and coffee waiting for you day and night in the lobby. It upholds the quality in its name. The room is nice as well. One real plus is this is right on the main highway in Cullman yet it is set back behind restuarants so the street noise is buffered allowing a more quiet stay. I'm happy I chose this location.
Everything seemed pretty clean. The person that checked us in was friendly although he gave someone who called in a cheaper rate than we got online with our military discount. The room was a little crowded and the tv not a great picture. It was nice to park outside the room though. The bathroom was nicely updated. I would stay again for a night.
Very clean and very nice people here. Room was excellent and very clean. Would stay here anytime over them high priced hotels. You will not be disappointed. I have stayed on a ton of hotels especially choice hotels and quality inns. Also lots of restaraunts around for your eating needs.
This Quality Inn is conveniently located just off of I-65 on the right (south end) of SR 157 NW. It sits behind a Denny's just before a traffic light so don't try turning at the light as you won't get there; turn before the light. Despite being on a busy highway the rooms are very quiet and appear to have been completely refurbished recently. The room and the property in general were very clean. The people running the place are very nice. There are several restaurants around, including a Cracker Barrel across the street which is supposed to be the #1 Cracker Barrel in the U.S. I travel this area frequently and will be staying here from now on. NB Choice Hotels: you should take some of your franchisees to this Quality Inn to learn how the job of managing and maintaining a hotel property is properly done.
