From the time I entered I was greeted by a young man who made me feel comfortable. The rooms were very clean. The only thing it needed was a fridge and a micro wave which I thought normally came with the room. The breakfast was tasty. The man who was alway cleaning the tables after people left them was very friendly. Food was good. Have no complaints. I recommend this hotel.
If you are looking for a clean centrally located place to stay on busness, I say this is the place. Having a shuttle service to nearby activities is definitely a plus, specially if tou are jot to familiar with the City.
Stayed 4 nights here and was very happy. Did not like that I had to prepay the entire stay, but aside from that all was great. Breakfast is hot and fresh, more than adequate. Room is clean, quiet with basic amenities. Don't expect 5 shampoos and lotions and mouthwash, but the basic is there and is nice. A/C works great, blackout curtains good and bed was comfortable. Good security and parking wrap up an overall good package.
Rated from my view as average, based on typical commodities of most hotels or motels, this was lacking basics like a radio with alarm, hand towels or even wash cloths, not many choices to eat within walking distance, and security guard even mentioned it was not safe to walk around at night. Overall it served its purpose, a place to lay down and rest and to shower.
Staff incredibly welcoming and helpful. We left a bag accidentally and they called us to let us know. After driving back many kms they REFUSED to accept a tip!!! We'll definitely stay here next time we travel through!!
I'm a fan of City Express hotels because you know what you get, they have a very affordable price, small but confortable, useful, cozzy and a very "useful" breakfast (not gourmet, not really deliciuos but you have fruit, eggs, cereal, yogurt...). This one was not the exception, just want to share a couple of things: front desk is very kind, the coffee was great, the disposable stuff at breakfas was biodegradable (two tumbs up), busines center not so good because they have a couple of very old PCs and printer was not functional (and printing your boarding pass is one of the main uses); internet is not always friendly since you need to reconnect frequently, noisy if you are near the breakfast zone.
We stayed here because we came from Los Mochis and had to leave early in the morning to the airport. We had dinner at a near by Shopping mall and everything is near but not close to downtown. Overall the hotel is a goodnighter and nothing else than that. I give this a three star cause of the bed and you can hear everything in and outside the rooms. If your looking for a nice and all around good hotel in Culiacan stay at Lucerna hotel.
Our room was clean all the time, the personnel is kind and always ready to help. The room wasn't too spacious but for 3 people was enough. The hotel has a nice location because in 10 mins you can get to the airport and in 3mins to the bus station and just 5 mins and we get a huge mall called "Forum". The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, it needs variety that's why we used to go the restaurants nearby But, it was a nice experience, of course I'll be back again.
