Its a very serene place and if you book one of the villas high up (we are currently in number 7) you have a lovely view of the bay with some boats. The room js well appointed and quaint. Haven't had breakfast yet but overall this is a nice place in a quiet location with a pool and a bar and restaurant.
we booked a deluxe villa, with a great view of Fulladoza bay. we stayed for 4 nights and were quite pleased with our stay. the room was spacious, with a great bathroom- the shower was perfect and the towels were nice and soft. they even provided lovely robes for the both of us. The room itself was comfortable, but a bit bare. There was no clock, no dresser and no rugs. The bed was OK, but they did provide lots of pillows and very soft blankets. The balcony was perfect, although you are right next to another room and they share that balcony wall. You have many like chickens and roosters roaming around, as they do on the island. I felt that with just a few changes, the room would be extremely comfortable! a rug is needed, or a broom- there is so much sand that gets trekked in and it stays stuck to your feet. Also, maybe some curtains to block the morning sun- it is bright as can be very early, and the room is completely illuminated by the sun. the grounds of the hotel were splendid! beautiful tall palms, flowers, lizards and iguanas, hammocks, and a serene pool - we loved the pool! it was never crowded, water temperature was great- and they provide towels - which is awesome! no need to pack them- you can exchange them each day for fresh beach towels, which is super convenient! at night though, the walkway was very dark, and some lights on the ground would have a been a great help in navigating to the car. Parking is free and ample. We didn't go to the bar, but we did try the restaurant and it was impressive. A small menu, but the ingredients seemed very fresh. It is pricey though- but it seems most things on the island are. also, all of the staff we met were very nice and accommodating. I would certainly recommend this hotel- it's not far from Dewey, but just far enough to feel secluded and so peaceful.
Went for a BOD meeting and really enjoyed the stay for business and social. As a birder, I am always looking for the opportunity to combine bird watching before and in between meeting schedules. The grounds around the rooms included very active hummingbird and other species' favorite habitat for great viewing (see photos). The farewell dinner was absolutely fantastic. My octopus dish ( my wife had the appetizer and I enjoyed the entre enclosed in a tasty creation) was perfect! The bartender had recommended a Pinot Noir that was delicious and led to my order of another during dinner. Service was courteous, prompt and pleasant. Loved my stay here.
My husband and I had never been to Puerto Rico or this island. When we started to plan trip in January, I was having a hard time figuring out where to stay on Culebra. Mostly available are VRBO's and since I didn't know the island was leery of renting from an individual and where. My Coastal Living magazine arrived the day I was in a quandry and under 5 Caribbean Islands to visit was Culebra and place to stay, Club Seabourne. I booked immediately and am glad I did. The hotel was not full when we arrived and were upgraded to a larger room with porch and view at no additional cost. I really enjoyed sitting outside in the morning and reading. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel has a very good restaurant, a nice outdoor bar with great bartender, lovely pool and grounds. Breakfast is included in your room rate and a full breakfast, not continental. It was a good find and if we go back to Culebra will stay there again.
We stayed here as a group, which was part work and part pleasure. The independent cabins are beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, we were very impressed by the food, and a good wine selection. There is a good outside bar too. They were able to accommodate a board meeting for us, which was very helpful. The hotel has SUVs that can provide transport to some extent, but independent transportation will help you on this island. I wish we could have stayed longer. My only advice to management - get rid of the roosters. Who needs an alarm clock at a place this relaxing.
If I was in my 20s and was with my girl on a shoestring budget, I probably would have camped out along Flamenco Beach. Well, no longer in my 20s and still with my girl so we stayed at Club Seabourne. Glad we did. Club Seabourne was perfect. The cottage fit the bill (we stayed at Room 7 with a great view overlooking the Bay). The room was not luxurious, but it had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. I spent the mornings reading on the deck while my wife got some extra sleep. Just me and the roosters and the sunrise. Culebra is like that. Very laid back. Club Seabourne is like that as well. Breakfast is provided and it is good. Dinners are better and every meal prepared by Chef Jose was excellent. The servers also were very good and friendly. The bar also fit the bill. Also, a tip of the hat to Francesca who was always available to answer questions, help with arrangements and make the stay that much more perfect. Everything is close to Club Seabourne. That said, you will want to rent some vehicle whether it is a jeep or a golf cart (not the standard golf carts that you see on golf courses throughout the U.S.) to get around. And, whatever you hear about Flamenco Beach does not do it justice - white sand and clear water. Beautiful. Lastly, if you dive or snorkel, check out Culebra Divers. Great people and PADI certified. Culebra is not Bonaire or Cozumel and many of the dives are less than 60 feet but give me good coral and lots of fish and lobsters and turtles and rays and dives exceeding 1 hour and I am a happy camper.
Wasn't sure what to expect on my first trip to Culebra. Club Seaborne made a great place to spend a few days. Simple but complete and comfortable rooms in scattered duplex bungalows with private balconies. The restaurant had a nice breakfast available. Got a great dinner on Sunday night, but they were not open for dinner on Monday or Tuesday. They prepared a nice lunch in provided cooler to take to the beaches with us each day. Also arranged a water taxi for a day trip to Celebrity. I highly recommend Club Seaborne.
My husband and I spent 3 nights there mid February. We were very pleased with our accommodations and the staff was great. The rooms have a beachy feel to them. Enjoyed a very nice meal at the hotel on our first night.
The resort is very quaint and simple. They have a small bar and restaurant and the cottages are very basic but clean, good wifi and perfect for a couples getaway. The location is a short drive from the action but very manageable. If you are looking for a quiet get away, this your place.
Club Seaborne was suggested for dinner while we were on a sailing adventure. We had a fantastic dinner at a quaint little resort. Food and service was excellent. By water it is a little hard to find if you did not know where you were going.
