Quiet Retreat

Beating the heat

We enjoyed our stay in a cool mountain setting. The cabin was clean with a functional kitchen that we used many times. The property was close to the town of Creede which we visited every day. We had a restful pleasant visit and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It is such nice location and a beautiful cabin to be able to experience the views of the mountains. We hope to return next year.

It had a nice gas grill which we used many times. I would rent this cabin again.

With six people the large and open living room was nice for the evenings with a great views of the mountains. Morning coffee on the pato was nice. The location was actually where we wanted to be. We could hop on the ATV'S and take off. Hiking trails and wildlife viewing area nearby. Heidi was great with any questions.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All in all, a fantastic rental. The property could use a few updates, but really we had very few complaints. The wraparound deck was perfect with gorgeous views in all directions. Deck chairs and swing were nice additions The front of the house windows provided stunning mountain views when inside the house. Comfortable gathering spaces for the family inside as well. Very quick access to Creede which we loved. Lots of necessary amenities provided (although a large pot for cooking pasta and another decent frying pan would be nice) but for the most part, the place had everything we needed. A fun place to stay.
