Loved the nature walk right behind the hotel and the great pool and waterslide. Room was nice and large, and very clean. The pub nearby is pretty grubby though, but there are other food choices available.

There were a few small things missed by housekeeping, like the paper card holder at the edge of the bed...easy to miss. The rest of the place was spotless. I couldn't figure out the phone and someone was there to explain it to me in 5 minutes. The wifi didn't work but they had phone tech support. The south side has some noise from biplanes taking off. The other side was quiet when I stayed there before. Staff is excellent. Nice walking area. It's my favorite Vancouver hotel with the best view, but it is pricy.

Bayview is a very comfortable, family-oriented hotel in Courtenay. It’s very conveniently located. My daughter (10) says it’s now her favourite hotel!

Mature Family Fun

We were there to celebrate our son's 27th birthday by staying with him and our other son who is 21 in a family suite. We go swimming, soak in the hot tub, and really enjoy having breakfast in the large breakfast room. We are going again in October !!!
