Lovely room on a high floor overlooking the pool. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast and dinner was lovely, lots of choice. Brilliant staff at reception and in the dining room. Thank you for an excellent stay.

From the moment we walked in The Salou Princess we felt a warmth and friendliness from everyone. checking was fast and informative and we were soon settling in our room. It was a last minuet booking so didn't expect the best room, we were on the second floor overlooking the Hotel Entrance and road. It is a busy road at times but not too bad and when the balcony door is closed no problem. The room was of pleasant decor, adequate storage and a small fridge, which was useful. The Bed was one of the most comfy we have had on holiday! The bathroom had shower over the bath and a bidet. Spotless clean, towels changed as you require , sheets changed midweek. Lovely pool area with plenty of spare sun beds and chairs and tables and a pool bar. A small gym and sauna by the pool and a jaqussi and sun terrace on an upper level. The food was really good quality and choice, a good time span so you can vary your eating times as the restaurant is hustle bustle at times, but the staff are brilliant and show you to a table, we never had to wait. It was end of season so the entertainment was not brill, a bit of music and dancing . The beach is just round the corner so a stroll out in the evening is nice and there is a good atmosphere out there, Salou has something for everyone with easy transport to places of interest not far away.

Visited this hotel for a week. Reception efficient and helpful - had money stolen from purse whn in Tarragona and they helped deal with that and get the police. Room very clean and had bath which I wanted. View of room not so good would recommend pool view. Posiiton in resort excellent as is salou. Pool area small would visit beach in peak period. best part of it has to be the restaurant and the food. It is to die for. Whoever is moaning about it needs to get over themselves. Ive never seen such a good quality selection and it would take me a month to try all on offer. Restaurant staff all female and it showed. Efficient, cheerful and friendly. I cant recommend highly enough. Only one negative - wardrobes need rubber on the doors as people bang them and the walls are thin. Also ignorant people slamming their doors at all hours need to learn how to shut them quietly. Id go again - 20 minutes from Reus airport - one and a half hours flight - cant ask for any more !

Hotel is in a very good location, shops and beach both within 5 min walk. The staff on the desk were very helpful. nothing was too much trouble for them. Rooms cleaned every day to a high standard. Room also has fridge which is a good plus. Pool area kept very clean and tidy with enough room for all. Nightly entertainment is of a descent standard with a good varied mixture over the week. The dining area is excellent. Both breakfast and dinner were really good value with a huge choice to select from. Being a Coeliac it can be difficult for me travelling, however, I must give a very special thanks to EMI BENITEZ and ROCIO who took me round all the food dishes telling me what I could eat or not eat. They did this with a good knowledge of food and fully understood what Gluten free really meant. They both deserve a rise in salary for their good work. Now the down side of the hotel. Safe hire is excessive, you can buy a safe for not much more than a weeks hire fee. At night one waiter in the bar was reluctant to give you your full change when ordering drinks. I've no problems giving tips but not this way.

We booked this hotel last minute as our Holiday to Menorca was cancelled due to being booked with Monarch, there was a little queue for checking in when we arrived so rather than stand waiting we went to the bar, drinks were fairly priced considering we was in a hotel, when we did check in the first impression of our room wasn’t good, it needed some TLC and had a view of the road, I was trying to be positive as it was a last minute booking, we was half board, breakfast and dinner weren’t great but there is loads to choose from so you won’t starve, the pool area was kept clean, however the pool was freezing, could do with being heated, the hotel is ideally located if you want to go out and about to see Salou and the surrounding areas. Staff were always friendly.

Visited in October 2017, Rooms were really clean, pool and surroundings were always spotless, lobby was always spotless, food was amazing, all the staff were friendly and the restaurant staff were attentive. One night there was Chicken Kebab meat and it was one of the best meals I have ever ate!! Location was amazing too 400m from the beach!! My only issue was I was on the 1st floor and sometimes with the entertainment it could be a bit noisy. If i am ever in Salou, I will be back!! Highly recommended!!

Booked this last minute for a week half board. Didn't think this was worth being a four star. Room smaller than advertised. View at back of hotel wasn't much of a view and smell of grease on balcony. No sun either on balcony at anytime of day. Food little monotonous. Salou is a good resort and would return but not to this hotel.

Arrived 1 o clock sat day where we checked in easy enough bit of a que but no ones fault. The reception told us as we was half board we could changed our dinner for lunch and could therefore have the opportunity to go out for dinner as we pleased. Well the food was not good I’d give it a 2star maximum. Breakfast was okay at best but lunch and dinner both horrendous and ended up eating out every evening. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Bathroom was not bad either. Beds not the comfiest. The swimming pool and hot tub area no complaints and could always grab a sunbed. I would describe this hotel for older clientele as in oaps so over 65 good for you, as the amount of scooters outside was like a scene from the program benidorm.

We have returned from a lovely holiday in Salou. We stopped in the Salou Princess. First the negatives about the hotel, we were disappointed that there was no kettle in our room, the fridge didn’t work in our room because when you left the room and took your card out of the power slot the power went off, thus the fridge went off. We were also disappointed that the rule of no beach/pool wear in the dining room at the evening meal was not adhered too. Lastly one of the waiters in the bar who was miserable ( never had a smile on his face) use to short change you when he thought you had a few too many drinks. Now for good things The Salou Princess is in a brilliant position, central to nearly everything. We had a pool and sea view at no extra cost. Most of the staff are very friendly, dining room staff were very helpful. The food in the restaurant is very good and catered for all tastes. Each morning we had cava for breakfast. The rooms are lovely, and hotel was very clean. The pool is nice, we stopped around the jacuzzi which is very popular. There is entertainment each night in the bar which is very varied Overall if you want a hotel in Salou in a great location you should go to the Salou Princess

Stayed here for a week. The hotel was very clean, the staff were all friendly, and the food was good (we were breakfast only but tried the evening meal on one night). Plenty of food to choose from. The restaurant hostess was very friendly and helpful and is a credit to the hotel. I found the mattress to be very hard and a bit uncomfortable though. The pool area is very nice. The evening entertainment wasn't to our taste but it seemed to go down well with a lot of other guests.
