Nice hotel overall, and very nice staff both at the desk and restaurants. Good location, easy parking. My lower rating on service is based on the experience after the stay. The Hotel Melia sends a ton of emails, but when I needed help with a left bag, they never replied. Not to phone calls or emails. Pretty annoying when the rep from the hotel emails me asking for a review, but can't respond to my email after 4 days, and 2 calls. That is where the poor service was.

The hotel was superb. It is in easy walking distance to several beaches, the old city, and the harbor with its many nice ocean front bars and neighborhoods. We had booked a room with ocean view, and it did not disappoint. The breakfast buffet was excellent and plentiful. The hotel is clean, the staff was courteous, the pool area was very nice, and the hotel bar was well equipped. We would stay here again any time.

From the moment we arrived, to the morning we left we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The room was perfect, with a great shower room, very comfortable bed and view. The buffet breakfast had just about everything you could ask for and again the staff were always friendly and professional. The location of the hotel was perfect for the beach and town. When we returned to our room the chamber staff had ensured are room was as clean and tidy as it was on our first day. Another person on holiday asked why we hadn’t chosen an Air B&B, but we would never have got the high class of service and all the above mentioned service. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so special and we will be sure to be returning.

Nice and lean property just by the beach but walking distance to centre. The only negative thing I can think of is that the coffee shop doesn’t open until 9. It’s quite a walk to the nearest other coffee shop.

Staff were all very courteous and helpful. I was departing very early in the morning and the staff put together a breakfast bag for me to take with me, this was lovely. Breakfast in the dining room was amazing, lots to choose from. Overall this hotel was great.
