We had a great time in this hotel. Staff very friendly, food tasty-they also dont have any problem with gluten free diet.We had different dinner everyday for 11 days. Very kind girl in the bar from Slovakia, she helped us what to do when we had health problems. I loved bathroom with huge window. They also give you gifts when you drink in their bar. You also can borrow a bike or play table tennis there. I would like to recommend this hotel.

Lovely, functional apartment with fantastic, friendly, helpful staff in the hotel complex attached. Nice facilities, great location and brilliant options for late check out. The buffet breakfast was extensive. Any questions/problems (couldn't get microwave to work) that did arise were dealt with swiftly and with no fuss. Apartments had washing up cloths and liquid and filters for the coffee machine. These are just little things but very much appreciated

This hotel is a very good 3-star hotel but with 4-star food. The room I had was overlooking the pool (I had a free upgrade), and was roomy and pleasant. There are no fridges in the rooms but you can hire them. It's a 4 minute walk to the beach and a 7 minute walk to the railway station. The staff were very helpful, the hotel was very clean. Entertainment was only once a week and as usual in many Spanish hotels, there weren't many English channels on the TV. But that wasn't a problem for me as I didn't come on holiday to watch TV! All in all, highly recommended and excellent value for money. The only negative thing was that people could smoke around the swimming pool and I think they should have a least part of that area as a non-smoking area (or much better still, make it all non-smoking).

The whole staff was really polite!te rooms were very clean and tidy. our appartament was fully equipped for you to cook your own dishes. The breakfast and the dinner were faerly priced. The hotel was pretty close to the beach.

It was our second visit at this hotel. Food and service was excellent. Rooms are small but sufficient space and a premium room is available if you need... It is quite a noicy during evening and nights. Bring your earplugs! Location just perfect for cyclists!

Very enjoyable stay. Perfect location to wander around the town and only 5 minutes from the Beach. A few yards from the bus stop for the airport and a short walk to the railway station. Spotlessly clean hotel. Friendly staff. Great buffet breakfast. Small but well equiped gym.

This hotel has gorgeous finishing touches in terms of decor. The rooms are incredibly basic, each balcony views into another’s room, which is generally not an issue. Food is good variety however we ordered a jug of tap water with our meal, the girl brought a bottle and would not leave the table unless we paid €4!!! On another occasion, if we ordered a drink with our meal we where demanded to pay as it was brought and not at the end of our meal when we would probably order more drinks... this actually made people feel really uncomfortable. This hotel is however probably one of the better ones in Calella, others i drove past had drunk and sick teenagers outside, the hotel hired bikes which where great and there was a lot of options of things to do. Generally pleased, it was just the young inexperienced staff who tarnished the stay. Superb management.

Lovely quaint hotel. Room on third floor with good airconditioning and good sized bathroom. Breakfast good selection provided and Dinner same. Hotel in good location from shops and beach ideal for a beach break. Staff very helpful and attentive. Hotel provided a large takeaway breakfast on our last morning due to early flight. Would recommend and definately visit again

Price was excellent with Travelrepublic, half board. Room was clean, simple and comfortable and the double bed was good. Food was excellent - a nice, bright small dining room with a good selection for both breakfast and dinner and show cooking. Gluten free needs were very well accommodated. There are two pool areas - a larger public one in the shaded courtyard area and a small splash pool private for adults. The public areas almost have the feel of a boutique hotel and the courtyard area is lovely when quiet - which was nearly always the case during daytime. Unfortunately this hotel accepts and encourages large groups. While one group of German students was fine and well behaved, one group of Dutch-speaking adults with children in a particular was a disgrace - noisy, rude and looked they'd never stayed in a hotel before or knew to behave in one. The staff are are lovely - especially in the restaurant. However if a small hotel like this wants to accept groups they need a manager onsite in the evenings to control them and ensure other guests are not disturbed or ensure that another member of staff is trained to do so. Noise travels a lot because of the design of the hotel around the courtyard and this area is open at night and people were jumping in the pool etc. I was told by the staff no manager was available when I asked in the evening and they were themselves either unwilling or unempowered to intervene. While I'd love to visit again I'm rather put off by their groups policy and failure to manage them for the comfort of other guests.

Single female traveller, this was my second stay in this lovely hotel, Barbara on reception greets you with a smile and will always help you. Manuela works so so hard to give the guest a wonderful stay and imad is so warm and friendly. The neptuno is located on a side street, but within walking distance of the shops, bars, beach and train station. I took the train up to girona for the day, what a lovely place to visit, the old town and catherdral is worth a visit, loved it !!! I also did a trip into Barcelona, buy the tourist bus ticket with the train ticket, at the train station as it's cheaper. Calella is a wonderful place to stay as everything is on the doorstep. Thanks to all the staff and cleaning ladies at the neptuno for making my stay so enjoyable again.
