Szép, tiszta szálloda. Finom, bőséges reggeli és vacsora. Igen kedves személyzet!! Medence lent, bent valamint fent a tetőn! We spent a beautiful week in this great hotel. Good location, nice staff, delicious food, nice, clean room. Thank you! ☺☺

I stayed at this hotel several years ago, and that I time I fell in love with it. After that visit I wanted to come here again. I liked everything about the hotel: service, food, atmosphere. And I came there again. The hotel has changed much. This time I had a room with windows facing the inner yard. There were some transformers and it was very noisy there, it wasn't possible to open the balcony door. My room was clean, cleaning service is good. They changed towels every day. But face towels were grey, old. It seems that the hotel tries not to spend too much money. Food: a couple of very cheap kinds of cheese, margarine instead of butter. It was a berry season in Spain, but several times we had only remains of cherries, remains – because some of them were rotten. We never had any berries. Yogurt was cheap too, like synthetic. Choice of food wasn't very wide. Once or twice I saw a cook, frying some meat, but one had to wait it for long, to ask for it. At the last day I came to the reception to say “good bye”. A girl there just said a cold and dry “bye” and went back to her business. I was surprised and disappointed. Usually receptionists say Good bye, Have a nice flight, Hope to see you again, etc. This happened to me for the first time. I'm not sure I'll want to stay at this hotel again.

We went with family and friends and stayed 3 nights. Most of the staff is friendly The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious, all 3 rooms had a nice balcony. The breakfast and dinner were really good and price is not bad at all. Location can't be any better. The downside is that it is a little bit noisy, you can hear everything is happening in the rooms next to you and one night there was a lot of nice coming from the street. The other thing we would suggest is that they need to change the mattresses of the beds, in all 3 rooms we had the same problem, mattresses too old and we didn't manage to get a good sleep. If i had to go back to calella one day I will definitely stay in the same hotel hopefully they change the mattresses.

Just a hotel - probably the only advantage is the proximity of the beach and the location in the city center. Rooms: clean, but of 3-star quality, beds - average, thin walls, bathroom - clean, but not very comfortable. Terrible, slow wi fi. Generally - I am sure there are better places in Calella. Fro triathlon participats - conventient place regarding the registration and starting point.

Marked as a 4 star hotel its not. In saying that myself and my wife stayed there 11th to the 15th of may 17 while we went to the spanish f1. The hotel is spotless the staff are really very friendly buffey breakfast lunch and dinner. We had the breakfast and on one day we had lunch very nice would i recomend this hotel YES close to the beach shops transport. Well worth a visit

I have just returned from the hotel. Although not in the most photogenic of areas I really like the place. The staff are all super efficient and friendly, and the food is of a good variation. My room was kept spotlessly clean, and the bathroom has constant hot water. Thank you to everyone concerned at the hotel for your kindness and efficiency.

I was one of a group of 20 on a singles holiday for the not-very-young. The hotel is nicely situated for town and beach, and I found my room comfortable and quite big for single occupation. There was no kettle, and the safe cost Eu20 for a week, which was a mean touch, I thought. Everything was clean, and everything worked. The lift was fast and convenient for the top (4th) floor. Above that there is a sun-roof with good views and a tiny plunge pool. The main pool is at ground level, next to the bar, and it gets the sun in the afternoon and evening. In early May, the water was very cold! I enjoyed the breakfasts least of all, though the coffee machine was excellent, and the toast was good. There was also good choice, but not much fruit and the bacon was horrible. The hot food tended to be luke warm, and things that should have been cold weren't, such as milk and fruit juices. The best feature was the evening meal buffet. Different every day, with huge variety, including lovely shellfish for starters and cheeses for afters, with the main courses including steaks cooked on the spot. Absolutely outstanding and highly recommended. The house red wine was also excellent, and great value at Eu9.00. I found the staff perfectly helpful and obliging, with good English. I recommend this hotel to you.

stayed here mid April good food, clean rooms and hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, nice town lots of shops and a general welcoming feel to the place, lots of eating places and pubs with in 2 min walk, but still a quiet hotel, the beach is a 5 min walk we had a side sea view, thank you to the staff had a great stay.

Hotel is Descent for Calella. Typical Spanish beach hotel with a bar, restaurant, and small pool. Restaurant is above average for Spain with a good layout and good food. Rooms are just average but all rooms appear to have a balcony. Paper thin walls.

Stayed here as part of a tour group for Christmas and New Year 2016/'2017. Rooms were very clean and a good size. Lots of room for clothes and luggage. Bathroom was a great size with bath and overhead shower. again spotlessly clean and kept that way (housekeeping even in on Christmas day and New Year's day). The hotel can provide a tea tray pack with kettle, cups and selection of teas and coffees. (note they did not replace or clean the mugs when dirty, you had to do this yourself. Powdered milk was supplied, but plenty of wee shops around to get fresh if required. there was a charge for this tea tray pack. room also had a working fridge which did keep things cold (unlike some hotel fridges) Staff were lovely, friendly and clearly very hard working. the hotel is two minutes from the beach and callella beach was lovely. Also very easy to walk to the train station for train to Barcelona. The hotel spa area was a bit lacking - you had to pay to use it and only 4 people allowed in at once. So do book in advance if you want to use this. Entertainment in the evening goes on until 1am., so I would avoid a room on the first floor as you can hear it very well! (Luckily I was up on the 3rd floor - or this may have been a different review. No complaints and would be happy to return, but Calella itself didn't look that great as a town. Maybe only open in summer.
