Good hotel, nice, clean rooms. Only walls are very thin, every night we heard peoples walking back from bars and parties. They got very nice girls, who entertained kids with games and took them for lunch/dinner. Staff speaks very good english. And food was different every day.

Just returned from the Bon Repos having had a really enjoyable break. We travelled as a family of 4, we have 2 girls aged 10 and 8. The hotel is close to the beach and resort centre so everywhere is within 10 mins walk. Calella itself is very pretty, with lots of choice of bars, restaurants and an old town. The Bon Repos hotel is well maintained, with very friendly staff who are are more than happy to deal with any issues and questions that arise. We had maid service everyday and there were always people cleaning and ensuring the hotel was kept clean. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed the All Inclusive option, there was very good choice on food, including themed nights, our favourite was the Mexican!! Our girls filled themselves up on the snack bar food of toasted sandwiches, burger, chips etc! The drinks range was extensive and plenty of choice and overall the All inclusive option easy to use. What helped make the holiday so special though was the excellent entertainment throughout day and night, including the best magic show that we have seen. We also enjoyed the foam party, great fun! We stayed in a family room facing the swimming pool and there was a great balcony that stretched out, meaning that children, including ours, could play with the very many friends they made. Overall, this was a great holiday that was fantastic value, if you can it seemed that the rooms facing the pool were more spacious.

Stayed her for a five day trip with the children 11 and 13 was worried reading reviews but can honestly say it's not as bad as some have said the food was ok both my children ate well and they could get all the snacks and drinks they wanted on the all inclusive the room was clean and tidy but was only used for a place to sleep there was noise from the hotel over the way at the back I think it was a hotel for young people the hotel had a Christmas theme one night which was confusing but fun they had santa and a Christmas tree the children received sweets and us ladies a rose they had entertainment during day and in the evening we even went to a foam party at the sister hotel couple mins walk away kids loved it I have been to Calella 3 times and stayed in the htops but would definitely return to Bon repos

We stayed at the Bon Repos From 25th July 2017 till 5th August 2017. Having read the reviews on Bon Repos i was a bit worried about our stay but it seems we stayed at a completely different hotel than most of the other reviewers. We stayed as a family of 7, 4 Adults a 16, 11 and 2 year old on an all inclusive basis. The hotel was spotless the staff helpful and friendly the Animation team very good and the food was excellent. Our first impression of the hotel was of a clean tidy establishment and our first encounter with the dining room was a very tasteful meal which continued for the rest of our stay. The pool was clean every day and we spent a lot of time in there. Our rooms were fine and clean. The Animation team were great and very friendly. Calella is a beautiful resort and the Bon Repos a lovely hotel I would go again and have no qualms about staying at the Bon Repos.

Having read some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive before arriving at the hotel! It really isn't as bad as some people have said. We stayed on B+B basis but upgraded to all inclusive after a few days. The food was typical of 3* hotel. The room was basic, only thing that I missed was a fridge. Staff were lovely. The bar shuts at 11.30pm and all lights go out at the same time. If you're sitting in bar area or outside finishing your drink it's not ideal sitting in darkness!

We have just got back from here. We have found the staff very helpful. My disabled room is exceptional for a 3* and my daughter and her family are next door. If we have asked for anything it is done. My grandson had his birthday within a couple of days of arriving and they made him a lovely cake. You do have to pay €50 for the safe and if you want colder air con you have to get a remote for it at a cost of €20. Food is ok but can be hectic for the evening meals. On the whole a good clean friendly hotel, with only a 5 minute walk to town, which is amazing. We were disturbed a couple of nights by rowdy youngsters. Be prepared for the 9 am sunbed Rush. It was really hot when we stayed and there wasn't any sunshades so be prepared. Personally it needs more staff to keep order.

We stayed at this hotel for from 28th July to 31st July 2017 with my elderly parents and two children. Having read the reviews I was nervous but we honestly had a great time. Some of the most recent reviews were from people staying at the hotel the same dates as us and I honestly don't know how we could see things so different. There were plenty of families at this hotel. We only saw one group of lads on a stag do and we didn't really see them as they obviously went out at night. Our bedroom was right outside the lift on the 4th floor and we didn't get anyone waking us. Sometimes you could hear people but not badly. The kids loved the pool and were in it everyday. The restaurant wasn't too bad either. There were small queues but nothing more than max 10/15 people and that was at peak time. We often avoided this by waiting half an hour and then it was clear - don't follow the masses!! The food was ok. A good choice of seafood, pasta, meats, chips of course and breads etc. Not amazing but you get what you pay for. We didn't go hungry. The only weird thing is the bar. We were all inclusive and you get given a poker chip which you exchange for a drink - you can then exchange your cup for another drink or another poker chip when you've finished. We actually ended up with more poker chips because people paying for drinks left their cups on the tables! There really is no point to the poker chips as you get given a wrist band when you are all inclusive anyway just like all other hotels. Our bedroom was basic. On arrival we had no towels and one of the beds had no sheets. I went to reception and they immediately sorted this out for us. The rooms were basically clean as in the toilet, sink, beds etc but they didn't clean properly as there were bits/dust under the beds. The cleaners make your bed and give you towels and I think thats all they do. We also asked at reception and they gave us a remote control for the TV. At night they have entertainment which is a kids disco first followed by cabarets. It was ok. We often watched until the bar closed and then went across the road to papas bar where we always stayed until 1am / 2am even with the kids as they were so funny with a choice of music for all ages plus the bar staff were so funny and entertaining. My parents who don't dance had such a fun time. We would stay again.

We had a week holiday with our family and friends here. When we arrived, we were told there was NO parking lot for the cars because they were full. So we started circling in the city searching for parking lots. On day 3 it took us 2 hours!!! If the hotel had free parking lot, it would have cost 10 €/night with 50€ deposit. So it is practically impossible to park the car in the city. Regarding the hotel it is EXTREMELY noisy, there is terrible loud music every single night. The restaurant is like a school canteen, crowded, and they quickly run out of some food.

We came to Bon Repós for a week family holiday. To our dismay the hotel was taken over by 17 year old Germans (80% of guests...at least)! Impossible to sleep and levels of staffing to control the chaos, especially at night when there was a single person, was ridiculous. Staff really tried to be helpful, but the discontrol was out of their hands. We had drunkards knock on our door and wake up out daughter at 5am! Kids with portable speakers and horrible music all day long! Take ear plugs!! The hotel itself is clean enough and facilities are according to price more than suitable. Food was quite decent and the cheff and staff did their best to provide adequate food. The buffet system is like a school canteen all queing up rather than an adult like buffet where you can move freely... The animation team was adequate and although i have seen much better it was ok considering the price and rating of the hotel. The evening shows were ok, just a shame not enough families to enjoy them. So, all in all, if u are a family, it might be a dive and definitely do not reccomend. If you are an under age party animal it is perfect for you.

We stayed the 2nd week in June, and can honestly say it's not half as terrible as some of these reviews make out! If you want 5 star, then pay 5 star prices....simple! The food was hit and miss,as it always is on a cheap all inclusive.... and as for the poker chips,it stops there being lots of glasses around the pool.we had a remote for the air con and the tv without any mention of a deposit?there is a great bar opposite "papas" and you can't beat "Alcatraz" for a breakfast! It's my 3rd visit to calella and it's an absolute beautiful town, never get bored of it! All in all a nice little cheap break
