The room was mustard yellow, dimly lit, smelled like cigarettes and animals; poorly covered up by air freshner. No breakfast, single serving of coffee in room. Bed was hard, sheets were rough. The room/bathroom were dated, the furniture was scared, flooring was terrible, both the carpet and the tile and the paint was peeling everywhere. The owner greeted us with a mouth full of peanuts and proceeded to try to talk while chewing. Our usual hotel was full, this one had fairly good reviews; not sure why though. But never again.

The innkeeper is very personable and friendly. He checked on us the day after check-in (we stayed for 6 nights) asking how we liked the room and to let him know if we needed anything. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic. There is a gas station right up there road. The only con to this hotel is that the beds are a little on the firm side, but each bed has four pillows so you get eight pillows which helps a lot. My fiancé and I ended up having all eight pillows on our bed and it was nice. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and for the price, would stay here again.
