South Second Street (5 minutes) is where you will find fast food, pizza, discount stores and gas stations. EV chargers are located across from COTC on N. Whitewoman St. in Roscoe Village.
You are within walking distance of all of Roscoe Village. There are several area taxi services available if you wish to travel outside Roscoe Village and prefer not to drive.
You are staying in the restored Roscoe Hotel (circa 1856). The building was built by Arnold Medbery and it replaced Medbery’s earlier, wood framed hotel (built 1832) that burned. This building was also a stagecoach stop and was believed to have been on the Underground Railroad. The building housed retail businesses on the main level, sleeping rooms on the second and third floors, and a ballroom on the top floor.
The wood floors are from trees as far back as the 1600's and the original plaster walls have some cracks from nearly 170 years that add charm and character to the rooms. There was no electricity or cars and Ohio was just over 40 years old when this building was populated by early European settlers moving west. Millard Fillmore was president and the American civil war was still years away. This is no ordinary airbnb apartment, we have added modern conveniences but tried to keep the historical integrity alive for your enjoyment.
Make sure to visit the Coshocton Visitors Bureau located across the street from the apartment (at 432 N Whitewoman St) to get tons of local recommendations! There are other apartments in the building, so general conscientiousness is expected.
The apartment is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and a dining table.

Issues
Had several issues. "Local" TV programing was from Los Angeles, not Columbus. Tried movies but each wanted password. Get Direct TV back.
Sheets on bed were a problem. Moved too easily, slippery and came off bed. Not comfortable.
A/C too cold, ran continually, no control.
Wonderful Roscoe experience. Only downside, a bit noisy, other guests were quiet, but there is a surprising amount of truck noise from street and highway. Just bring ear plugs.

Perfect!
The apartment was a perfect home base for my wife and I for a long weekend retreat. Perfect roomy location to unwind at the end of a long day. The two restaurants in Roscoe Village are A+ and literally right next door. We will definitely keep this place in mind for our next trip back.

The Secret Corner
There is a corner in Pearl's Place that has a history of the building which includes a murder. They also have pictures of Wiccan rituals, seance, and what appears to be ghosts. We only stayed one night of our 2 night stay as my wife was extremely uncomfortable with this type of decorating.
