Perect romantic getaway

Little romatic getaway for me and my partner . Perfect location ( did struggle finding it ) But Perfect. Warm, cozy loved sitting by the fire pit each night . Shower was toasty, beautiful views, animals and under the stars

Beautiful location

Just a short overnight stay in see concert. Just slept there. Warm inside hut. Bed perfect for one. Hot shower in morning. Woke up by peacocks squawking...fabulous

We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay.

No check in information received, when I contacted the host was told ‘it’s not hard it’s left unlocked’ during our stay the host walked past us several times to feed the llamas head down, didn’t even say hello, text to ask how to use the gas fire during our stay and no response, was made to feel very unwelcome. Shame as the shepherds hurt is nice

Amazing location and stunning hut!

We had a really fantastic night at the Shepherds Hut! Its a truly stunning setting and very well appointed little hut, the gas fire is great and the underfloor heating gives some real comfort! A few improvements in regards to communication, location details and a welcome book with instructions for the fire, local information etc would really raise this to the PERFECT destination! Can imagine this place would be amazing in the summer with the Alpacas and Peacocks walking around the paddock in front of the hut. Privacy is fantastic here and we felt like we were completely away from the world! Highly recommended!
