Great place, had everything we needed for beach days. Golf cart was a plus to get around the neighborhood. Home was very spacious and clean. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip back.

Lovely. Home was clean & spacious. Second story front & back porches. Outdoor shower to rise off. All the cooking supplies needed. All rooms cooled by the A/C. Had easy access to the beach. Lots of beach supplies like skim boards, sandcastle supplies & golf cart.

GO Go GO!!

We’ve been to Port Aransas before, but I’ve never stayed here. We will never stay anywhere else. Just go and I promise you you will have the time of your life. Everything was wonderful, and I mean everything!

Get-a-way

The house was perfect! Great location, spacious, well stocked, and came with a golf cart. There were a few hiccups as with any stay but the owner was on top of it and tried to remedy the situation. The golf cart didnt have a parking break as we just had a good laugh about it after a bit! The TV didnt work in the main living room but we imrovised with our phone and portable speaker we brought for the beach. This place is a 10 and so worth it! I would recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

Grandkids first trip to the beach

This stay and the house were amazing! Everything we needed plus a short hop to the beach in the provided golf cart. Owner was excellent in communicating, checking in on us every day of our stay. We would definitely stay in this property again on a return trip.

Unforgettable 2 Family Stay

Location, location, location! It was perfect. Everything about our stay was perfect. Our family of 5 and our friend’s family of 4 stayed extremely comfortable in this 2 story house that’s less than a 5 minute walk from the beach on a private boardwalk. The first level provided a perfect spot for the kids with a set of bunk beds, a futon and a double bed. It even had its own sink, microwave and mini-fridge perfect for leaving our beach cooler items so we didn’t have to lug upstairs. The second level was perfect for the adults and family gatherings. The king-suite, queen suite, living area, full kitchen and deck were awesome and were even better than I expected. The house has ALL the utensils, and kitchenware you could possibly need to cook meals. The stay also came with a 6 seater golf cart that we used each day we were there to get kids and items to the beach. One of the best parts was Dan, the host. He called a day in advance and gave me the layout and his recommendations on where to go for various things that we were interested in. We have VRBO’ed several times in the past, and Dan is by far the best host we’ve ever had. We’re already planning our trip next year! 5 out of 5 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wonderful location and House

The condition of the house and amenities are all five stars. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Very close to the beach and town: very clean with plenty of towels and stocked kitchen we used multiple times.

A True Gem

We were blessed to enjoy a very peaceful and fun week at the lovely Sandcastle House. We found it to be clean, cool and extremely comfortable. We slept wonderfully at night and loved every minute of our time there. Dan is an exceptional host. He is always friendly, helpful and available to answer any questions. We have stayed at several homes in Port Aransas over the years and the Sandcastle House is our favorite. We hope to visit again soon. Thanks for the great week!

Great access to beach!

Dan was an accommodating host who was very informative and helpful leading up to our stay. The house has a spacious common area and the kitchen is large and well-stocked. We had 6 adults but the house easily could have handled more! The included 6 person golf cart was an additional bonus that made getting to the beach and around town so easy. Between the beach road and the neighborhood boardwalk, getting to the beach was a breeze! We all enjoyed our extended holiday weekend stay very much and would stay here again!

Great house

House was absolutely perfect! The location was good and the golf cart was the perfect thing to make our vacation even better! Dan was a great host, very friendly and communicative. The beds were super comfy and the apartment downstairs was perfect for our adult children. We would definitely stay here again.

excellent location and the dogs loved it

Very nice property. Two main reasons I chose this property. 3 bathrooms and dogs are allowed. Mom, 90, lives with us and we take her on our annual trek to the beach every year. It brings back here childhood memories, the few she has left, and we want her to feel comfortable with her own room and bathroom. This fit the requirements. Second going to the beach without the dogs would be no fun at all. the golf cart is a welcome bonus - go going to the rental lot for pickup and return. just fill it up , wash it and put it back in the garage. There are a lot of item left in the garage for use from others toys, coolers, chairs, and other items. lots of beach towels in the laundry room. The outdoor shower and hose made it very easy to bathe the dogs every time we came back from the beach to keep the sand out of the house

Hummingbirds and the beach❤️

We came for the hummingbird festival and decided we wanted to enjoy the beach, too. This home was just perfect. The home is very welcoming and very comfortable and very clean!! It has everything you could possible need. The golf card is an added plus to drive to the beach and around the town. Dan is a wonderful host and responds very quickly to all communications. I sure hope we get to come back soon!!

Everything was great

First I must say that Dan was great to communicate with he was very attentive and answered all of my questions. The house is a good location and is stocked with everything that you might need. I will put this house in my favorites for future stays in Port A.

Port Aransas family get away

My (already high) expectations for the property were exceeded on all levels. From booking to checkout, I don’t think the processes could have been easier. The property was clean and comfortable. The golf cart was a huge hit with the family. The location was close to the beach, the restaurants and downtown scene. I recommend a quick visit to the local museum. An unexpected highlight and Judy is super knowledgeable about the history of the area. Port A is a gem.
