Surprise for Mother's 60th

had a nice family reunion, minus the dryer not working and the invasion of ants that were after pastries left in a bag on the counter amongst a couple of other issues. the staff were responsive. it was a nice walk, albeit those of us that preferred walking had to play frogger to cross the street.

Great Getaway

This was wonderful. It's exactly as it's listed and worked wonderfully for us. Check-in and out was super easy, and they outline everything well. Will definitely stay here again!

For us, a quiet retreat

The property appears to be one of many owned by this company, which means they have standard cleaning & maintenance practices. There was no dustbin or mop on site. The washing machine was non-fuctional, as it didn't spin water out. We called this in on our next to the last day, and a repairman was sent the next day. The jacuzzi in the master is not really usable, as it takes all the hot water just to get the level high enough to cover the jets. Adding an on-demand hot water heater to master would solve that issue. There are plenty of dishes and utensils but the cookware is old, scratched and bent. We reported these minor issues and hope that the next visitors enjoy the space as much as we did.

Great layout but….

The dishwasher was broken we discovered when all the dishes and glassware had a greasy film on them. We ran the dishwasher twice and the detergent didn’t dissolve. The dishes all had a greasy film. This was not a new issue, obviously. There was a leak under the kitchen sink. Several dishes and cups were chipped. The outside shower is not usable because it is covered in dirt and mulch. The private patio was covered in children’s drawings with sidewalk chalk.There is a lack of cleaning supplies. We found a broom with no dustpan. No hose to clean off the patio or outdoor shower. The layout of the house is great.

Fun Family Get Away!

The place was great for the family get away. Short trip! A few items to point out that we’re a bummer. 1. There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. Showers were great. 2. Didn’t realize the condo was on the wrong side of Hwy 361 for beach buggies. 😢

For the most part it was an enjoyable stay. One lavatory in the master bathroom didn’t work. The sheets on the bed in the master bedroom didn’t fit and had to be pulled back in place several times during the night. And the sofa sleeper didn’t have linens or pillows available.
