No daily house keeping services, witch then makes for a dirty environment all the way around. There are roaches. They told us to put our trash by the doors or the trash cans out side, well there are no trash cans out side . House keeping comes a beats on your door at 9am witch is not cool!! All around a crap place

Roaches crawling on the tv. Who wants to be in a room with roaches. What if I take them back home. I have to dust out my clothes
We had 2 rooms both had bedbugs ‘ Terrible hotel almost ruined our vacation.
The beds were very comfortable. The room smelled a little like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The staff was very nice. But the noisy air conditioner kind of drove me crazy.
This hotel needs a lot of maintenance. Its very outdated. My room was way less than what I expected. The walls needed painting, the carpet was worn and very dirty, the bathroom wall was broken.
Carpet had stains all over, toilet wobbled back and forth, pillows were unusable(bad odor and stained), could not close bathroom door, comforter was torn
Just a place to crash for a night. Rooms are dated,
Never again will I stay here if in town. The most horrific place I have every stayed in.
Room was filthy, TV did not work, phone did not work, no waste paper basket, had to ask for help over a period of hours before any response. Rug was filthy, had to walk on towels, we stayed a second night and there was no room service for the second night, beds not make, towels not refreshed, etc. I could go on and on.
I was disappointed with the facility's condition and its lack of cleanliness. I expected better of a motel with the Howard Johnson name.
Dirty need big time maitenens. Shampoo soap not replace same as towels.
The hotel is old and they don't put any work into it. There was trash in the parking lot, including a full case of empty beer cans. The windows in the office were dirty and the plants were half dead. The room had very old, dirty carpet. Near the door you could not even tell the design of the carpet. The thermostat on the A/C was inaccurate. So unless you set it to 60 degrees, it would not turn on. The it blew air that smelled of mold. How Howard Johnson allows this place to remain open is a mystery to me. The staff was friendly and the morning breakfast was good.
