Great location, clean property, perfect communication

Visited for the solar eclipse. Nice property perfectly located close to town and the beach. House is clean and updated with plenty of supplies. Communication with the property management company was excellent and informative.

Wished it wasn’t so “staged “. No clocks. No place to put any such as toothpaste, brush etc. had

Way too staged. No clocks. No place in bathrooms to put your bathroom essentials. No bedroom tables or electrical outlets for phone plugs, hair dryers clocks lights. Only one lamp to turn on by hand. Way too hard in the dark. I really think you need someone to stay there a few days to see that there are no things to make it comfortable. Way too many Knick knacks, pillows, large displays and floral arrangements. No room for hair dryers, bathroom items etc. no mirrors or clocks or night stands to place our items on. Way way too staged. Please have a family or senior citizens to stay there. They will honestly tell you it looked like an interior decorator rip you off not thinking someone would like to be comfortable staying there.

Nice island getaway

Our family of five and two dogs enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space and it had everything we needed to be comfortable. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach which we did with all of our beach gear without an issue.

Nice property & location

The property and location is nice. Furniture is dated and squeaky. The single pot and pan available are not that great. This vrbo property had the most bare minimum essentials compared to other vrbos I have stayed at.

Cute home for family of 3

We enjoyed our stay, cute property, very clean. Only real complaints would be that the shower does not get hot, and if you plan to cook there are only like 3 pans and they are in terrible shape. Great kitchen for sandwiches and grab and go type meals. Loved how close it was to the beach and the community pool.

Easy booking, cute, convenient to beach, but…...

We were pretty much comfortable, and location was good, except for bedrooms on back side of house being on a noisy main road. Very noisy day and night. A few kind suggestions, new cookware is badly needed to replace the two completely worn out, small cook pots that were available, and a large pot for fresh shrimp is ALWAYS available in houses we rent. We couldn’t cook at all. Two coat hangers total for two closets. You actually can see through the scratchy washcloths when you wet them. Had three towels for three days, for two people. Sofa was the only comfortable place to sit. Other chairs hard wood. It takes very little to make your home more inviting and useful. It’s cute, and in a cute neighborhood, it’s just lacking……sorry, but I’ve got to be honest. A lot is expected of us renters, and we have expectations too.

Easy to get to & close to the ocean

We loved this property, it’s at the front of the neighborhood and is very easy to access. It’s conveniently located close to a road going to the ocean and was nice and quiet.

Everything was as described in the listing. We go to Port A every summer and winter and this rental did not disappoint. They had everything anyone would need. The rental was updated and had a close proximity to the beach.

Beachy Christmas

We enjoyed a relaxing Christmas in this beautifully renovated beach house. Loved cooking together in the top notch kitchen. Host even decorated for Christmas! Will definitely stay here again.

5 night getaway

I rented this home for 5 nights. It was just two of us so the size was perfect. We checked in Monday and checked out Saturday. Overall I enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable and close to everything you need. Only suggestions are minor and they are not deal breakers by any means. 1) Although advertised, there are not any pots or pans to cook on. I was forced to buy a new pan at HEB. 2) Seating could be more comfortable on patio. 3) A table in laundry room to fold clothes. That's it. Everything else great and I would highly recommend.
