Upset with my visit - after several years of staying

I was more than happy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

I was told check-in was at 4 pm. My family arrived at 4:30 pm we got our room started unpacking or kitchen items went into the room and beds were not made checked the restroom all towels dirty and on the floor. Living room was full of sand. Reported problem to front desk with called maid service. The ladies were helpful but just gave us everything to do it ourself. Dinner time came I was looking for pans opened the dishwasher and all the dishes placed inside were dirty. It was never started. The floor was full of sand. Everyone slid - both restroom were out of toilet paper - trash bags and paper towels had to go get the front office. This stay had to be the worst. Nothing felt like relaxation.
