This darling lakeside cottage offers cool, coastal style in a brand-new vacation rental at Cinnamon Shore South. Navy-and-white interiors feel neat and nautical, with den/kitchen combo on the 1st floor and great porches. Upstairs, a bunk room and master suite both have lake views!

AMENITIES: At South, enjoy resort-style amenities such as the Cabana Pool with infinity edge; the new Splish Splash Family Pool with infinity edge and splash pad; Tailwind Park, Coastline Fire Lounge and other parks; serene lakes and ponds; a community pier; overlook pavilions and playscape. You also can access amenities at Cinnamon Shore North: pools, lakes, fitness center, on-site restaurants, and Town Center fun.

MAIN LIVING SPACE: A pair of cozy, white sofas invite you to relax in the charming den, which backs into the kitchen for a great combination living space with water views. Watch the wall-mounted flat-screen TV or the serene lake through the trio of floor to ceiling picture windows. Navy-and-white bar-height stools pull up the kitchen island for easy meals or as you visit with the cook. While attempting to open it, the barn door fell off into the wall. Very dangerous and scary for our 1 1/2 grandson, as he was trapped inside. Would only recommend this property if the barn door was fixed.

Great Time in Cinnamon Shores

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for four nights. The house was perfect for a family of four. We enjoyed easy access to the beach with our cart, as well as, fishing right outside the property in the lake. The lake is stocked with a variety of fish (reds, catfish, bass) and is catch / release. We enjoyed the pools at South (two kid friendly pools) and really enjoyed being able to get lunch at the grill next to the pool. The property was clean and well maintained. Only suggestions would be for an ice machine (not a huge deal since they had ice trays available) and outdoor hooks to hang up wet towels. Would definitely stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Southern Anchor was adorable. Location could not have been better. Loved the decor! Sadly we did come into a leak in the ceiling. The maintenance team could not have been nicer but could not figure the issue while we were onsite but I am sure they will do now that we departed. We did have some issues on storm day as it made the internet go out and we had to reset the system with different connections upstairs and downstairs. Also I'd include directions on how to use the ventless dryer. The tank was full and we didnt know why it wasnt working until thankfully google. Maybe some tupperware and a pair of scissors for the kitchen but overall, a wonderful place to stay. I'd suggest long clothing and bug spray. We've never seen mosquitos of this size that bite through clothing and we are from Texas. Also lots of ants on the grassy areas so closed shoes if you are taking a walk. The grounds are exceptional otherwise, I wish we could have been outside to enjoy the views at all times. Personally I liked South better for the stay then head to North currently for any activities. We made the right choice! Great for families or a relaxing couples trip.

I did call the office and they sent someone the last day we were there. It did start working the second day. The other issue we did not like was that you were unable to turn the A/C unit down but it was not a problem just made it a little inconvenient when it got hot. Everything else was great! The property and staff were awesome! Thank you.

Great quick retreat

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: took the family for a short weekend. It was a great house. Loved it was right on lake, and was quiet, clean, and perfect size and feel. We only had two minor issues - 1. none of the carpets had pads and were extremely slippery and we had a couple of falls. 2. none of the lights dim and there were no night lights. We contacted management and they advised they'd let maintenance know but no one addressed the issue. Also as a note - everything took place at North. We were okay with this as we had a car and drove to beach each day but if you plan on renting a cart - just know for basically everything including beach set-up you'll have a beach trek

Only suggestion I would have is having a refrigerator with an ice maker. The small countertop one couldn't keep up with ice for 5 adults. I'd definitely stay here again in spite of that.
