Overall a very clean hotel and room. The kitchenette had everything you’d need in order to cook and prepare a meal. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were great. The location is also great as you’re within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We’ll definitely be staying here, again.

Formerly. The Place. Which, when it was just The Place it smelled good. Now. When you walk in, it stinks of must. Not overpowering, but bad. The rooms stink until you get the AC going. I put an air freshener by the AC so it smelled better. It is probably the old carpet. Beds are always comfortable. Linens are always nice. Room always clean. Bathrooms always clean. We will always stay here a few times a year. Just wish they would fix the smell.

I have to start off by saying for the price we paid it was fine for a one night stay. I am really surprised by the reviews. The location was great. Front desk gentleman was not the most welcoming or friendly-was actually very short and almost rude to my husband when we were checking in. The room was clean but the lighting in the room wasn’t the best. There was a strange smell in the lobby of the building we stayed in but to their defense, we were forewarned by the hotel that they are undergoing some renovations. Continental breakfast did not have much to offer. Overall, it is what you would expect from a 2.5 star hotel.
