Salty Shenanigans was excellent!! Exceeded our expectations. Clean, spacious, wonderful amenities, and the owners were extremely responsive. The beach was gorgeous - we weren’t sure what to expect - but it was perfect. If you don’t like the beach, the pool is also enjoyable. Something for everyone! Highly recommend.

Just Perfect for what we looking for!!

Amazing!! This property had everything I was looking for when it came to renting a home in the Outer Banks. Tiffany and her family have thought of everything down to all the amenities. The Tiki Bar was a hit with both kids and adults. There were 13 of us and we all slept comfortably and if each of us wanted to be in the shade we all had the space and if we all wanted a sunny spot, we had room for that too. The horses were just an extra sight to see. The house is amazing, we could not have asked for more. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Amazing House in an Amazing Location

Our family had an awesome vacation at Salty Shenanigans. The owners truly thought of everything. Anything you need is at the house and available for use. They were also in great communication throughout the entire process. We had zero issues. The house is perfect, great location ~20 min down on the secluded Carova Beach. It is 4X4 required for access which was clearly stated from the beginning but we also knew this ahead of time. The outdoor pool and bar area was a great hangout spot at the house, and the house has the BEST walkway to the beach as you don't need to walk on the dunes at all and land right at the beach road. It was the best direct beach access in the area. Lastly the horses were just incredible. We were lucky and were visited almost every morning and night, right at the house. We found that the walkway to the beach was an awesome spot to see the mustangs along with all the balconies around the house depending on where they were at the time. In addition, our sunrise walks on the beach also led to several encounters. This was truly a dream vacation for myself, my wife, daughter, and brother & sister in law. There was plenty space for additional families if needed. This was one of the best vacations we have had, highly recommend you try to stay at this beautiful house on Carova Beach and hang out with the mustangs if you ever get the chance. You will never forget it!

The best house EVER!

This house made our vacation the best vacation ever! They had so many amenities and the kitchen has everything you need to make a simple meal or a big family dinner. The walk out to the beach is the best feature especially with littles. The pool was relaxing and fun! I love a salt water pool. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms very clean and stocked! Soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels supplied by owner! Owners are very accommodating and great at quick replies with questions and concerns. We will be back!

exactly what we needed

It was the perfect place for the family, the house was extremely clean, and everything we needed was already at the house. Beautiful views and the horses visited us every day. If you are thinking about booking this house, dont wait, do it now, you wont regret it.

Beyond impressed!!

Salty Shenanigans is an absolutely gorgeous house. No small details were missed. The home is fully equipped with everything you could think of. We actually over packed because we weren’t expecting so much to be there! The owners were great to speak to and very helpful. The horses visiting so often left us amazed. Best vacation house we have ever visited!! We are already trying to plan our next visit! Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Beautiful House and View

Beautiful house and view- located about 30 minutes down the 4 x4 beach in Corolla. My husband and I were not familiar with the area and did not realize that there are no paved or gravel roads in this part of the Outer Banks and in order to get to the house we needed 4 wheel drive to get through the sand. We were able to rent a vehicle and Tiffany was very helpful and quick to respond when we had questions. The house is stunning and thoughtfully stocked with anything you could possibly need. If seclusion and peace are what you are looking for- this is your spot. The house is decorated beautifully, beyond comfortable, and is perfect catching up on some R&R.
