Brand new home for the 2020 season in the Ocean Lakes Section of Ocean Sands. Less than two minute walk to the beach access. Private pool with option to heat it in the spring and fall for an additional fee. Heated pool, hot tub, tiki bar with outdoor television, spacious living areas for the entire family. Also included; enjoy the Ocean Lakes Pool and Tennis club; a short three minute walk. Upscale furnishings, no detail is overlooked in this home. Ground floor features a rec room, foosball table, full bath and adjacent built in bunk beds (two twins over two fulls), full laundry room, mini fridge with freezer, great for pool drinks! Second floor features a king master suite with private bath and private balcony, a queen suite with private bath and private balcony, two twins with access to back deck, queen with access to bath deck and a full bath. Third floor features kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances including additional refrigerated storage in below counter beverage center. Everything you need to cook a feast for your family beach vacation! Living room with access to street side deck and pool side deck, powder room, king master suite with full bath and access to private deck. Additional powder room at split level and cozy ships watch room for reading or surfing the internet. All bedrooms have wall mounted flat screen smart televisions. The pool itself is 12'x25', depth is 3’6” to 5’6”. It has a concrete deck around it and then a beautiful area with artificial turf for lounge chairs etc. Pool heat is available in the spring and fall for an additional fee of $50/night. This home also has an outdoor covered tiki bar area with bar height outdoor chairs, propane grill and a television behind the bar. The entire area is fenced and private to this home. This home is adjacent to three other homes that can be rented together for a total of 23 bedrooms for families vacationing together. Off street parking for approximately four vehicles is provided at the home.
We provide sheet and towel service EXCLUDING beach towels. (all sheets, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and kitchen towels—beds will be made with sheets upon your arrival and towel sets in the bedrooms).

Premises is restricted to use by Family Groups Only. A family group is defined as parents, grandparents, children and extended family members vacationing in one home. A non-family group is defined as gathering for an event,
unmarried young adults, high school students, college students or any non-family group. EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED: Chaperoned or un-chaperoned non-family groups, fraternities, school or civic groups. ABSOLUTELY NO HOUSE PARTIES ALLOWED.

The property itself was one of the best rentals we’ve had in past years. Very clean and well-maintained. The only downfall was the listing in pictures lead you to believe there may be a little more room between housing. Because the housing is so close. some rentals are often louder or rowdier than others. Thank goodness there was only one and it was tolerable. We do realize that’s not the fault of the property owners that we rented from.

We did not like how busy the beach was, and the people who put out the rental chairs and umbrellas always took the prime locations so we had to hike our stuff a bit further up the beach which was not ideal.

Fantastic week in Corolla!

We had 12 in our group, 6 adults and 6 kids, ages 5-15. The house had plenty of space for our group and in addition to being very clean, it is updated and the location is great! The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and it’s close to stores and restaurants too. Communication with the owner was easy, they reached out to us a couple of times during the week via text just to check how things were going and any questions we had were responded to promptly. Overall we had a wonderful week in Corolla and enjoyed our stay at Salt Shaker!

Awesome Property!

Had a wonderful week with my extended family at this property. House is exactly as described and was very clean. Although we didn't have any problems, Mgmt company did a great job "checking in" every couple of days via text to see if there was anything we needed. A very short walk to a beautiful beach, however, we used the pool quiet extensively. Close to everything. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Corolla.

A luxury home by the beach

The property was everything we expected and more! It was clean, comfortable and had a great location. There was plenty of space for our group of 13. We were near the beach--I am disabled but we were still comfortably close. We loved the pool and hot tub--it was great when the little kids still wanted to swim and we needed to prepare dinner. When we return to the Outer Banks, we will definitely consider this property!

Everything was exactly how it was listed. Plenty of room for our 6 kids, spouses and 3 grands! Rebecca was quick to contact me when our laundry was stuck in the washer(our fault). There was plenty of dishes, pans, storage containers and utensils. Only complaint was the second floor was uncomfortable with the air. Kids were struggling to sleep with the warmth. I'm sure this is an easy fix. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend to others to stay here! Thank you Rebecca!

We had a wonderful stay during our spring break! The house was absolutely perfect! Super clean! It had everything we needed. We ate mostly at home and it was equipped with everything that u would need. The heated pool was great in of itself! The kids loved it! Short couple minute walk to the beach which was very nice. The home was beautiful, extremely clean, with a stocked kitchen - plenty of cookware, dishes and silverware. The heated pool and hot tub were a life saver, as the weather wasnt ideal (mid March). We did however, make it to the beach one day, which was a very short walk away. All the tvs were smart tvs, so very easy access to our streaming services. Rebecca, our host, was very responsive any time i had a question about the area or the property. We very much enjoyed our visit to the area, and the house - and hope to return this summer!

Beautiful home close to the beach!

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful beach house. It’s close to the beach! The kids enjoyed the heated pool while the adult enjoyed the hot tub jacuzzi. The home is beautiful and very spacious! We loved our stay at this home. It’s hard to find modern homes in outer banks. This home was incredibly beautiful, super clean, well equipped. The house was set up perfectly for our group. It really is a 2 or 3 minute walk to the beach. Manager was very responsive and friendly. Neighborhood was secluded but located in the middle of two shopping areas so everything was easy to get too.
