It used to be really good.

Best Western perhaps is best compared to Pizza Hut, it was good in the 1980s. This location used to be a really good hotel. The breakfast buffet is not even a shell of what it once was and there are ants on the table. The most disappointing thing was the pool was closed. Why close the pool in the hottest month of the year, July? Why not work on it in May or October? So bizarre.

On a July weekend where the temperature was in the 30's, I was extremely disappointed to learn that the pool was not operational. We specifically chose this hotel because there was an outdoor pool only to be advised at check-in that it was closed.

Staff nice, welcome gift for dogs nice but an obvious pick up your dog poo...since there was a roll of dog poo bags. Cant say I blame them for that. Room stank of musty moldy carpet...didn't want to sleep in it. Never mind my dog sleep on it. We were there for a whole 4hrs....250 Canadian dollars later.

The hotel was great but they have a crazy amount of hydro contract workers staying there and the noise was a bit too loud and parking was limited as a result.
