Small classic hotel. Great location, Roof top bar incomparable views. Clean. Beds comfortable. Bathtub. Lovely balcony. Pleasant staff. Breakfast acceptable. Great access to old town restaurants and sites . Not modern. Not fancy.

on the positive side: Rooms were fine. The roof terrace is lovely and they served us despite arriving very late. Staff were friendly and beds comfortable. The location is perfect. However, on the negative side, the lift feels positively dangerous and breakfast was miserable. Most importantly, they charged our credit card the full amount 10 days before we arrived, then took full payment again when we checked out. Three weeks later I am still waiting for the refund. This is why I give it 'terrible'.

I was recommended to go and have a drink at this rooftop restaurant by a frequent visitor to Corfu, and I was so pleased I did. The setting is stunning, make sure you get there before dark as the light just as the sun sets is beautiful. The waiters did a good job, and we enjoyed a bellini at dusk. We decided to stay on for dinner and the food was fine. Not outstanding but the setting is worth going for.

During our staying in cavalieri kerkyra all was excelent, the staff polite and generous, roof garden with an fantastic view, the locationin the middle of everywhere and with a perfect sightseing to th ionian see.congratulation everybody!!!!!

Rooms ok. Staff service every day. Simple breakfast. In the city, but in a quiet area. Short distance to everything. 5 min walk from hotel to swimming area in the sea. Nice rooftop restaurant with stunning view. Open from 18.30. Good quality of pizza/pasta at Giovanni next door of hotel.

The Cavalieri is in a good location for your stay in Corfu Town. It is situated right on the harbour edge, and only a couple of minutes walk to all the shops and restuarants. It has a lovely roof terrace bar/restuarant which has spectacular views and is beautiful at sunset. My room was clean and comfortable but the decor is a little tired. I had a loft bedroom which was ok for me, but if you have difficulty with stairs, then make sure you check your room layout when booking. The breakfast buffet was basic but sufficient. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Firstly we have never stopped in this hotel which is a pity. The hotel is a former 15C nobleman's Palace. The secret of this place is the rooftop terrace which boasts in my opinion the finest view of Corfu Town which is accessed by stairs or a very small quirky lift. It's lovely during the day but becomes somewhat magical at night once all the lights of Corfu town are twinkling merrily. If you only want a drink that's okay, but it's well worth having a meal here, a romantic place even our two boys aged 10 and 13 years thought that it was very special. We last visited whilst on our honeymoon and it hadn't lost any of it's appeal.

Nice old place, worn but still ok, attentive staff, nice location, nice view of the yacht harbour from the frontrow rooms. Breakfast is average... I landed on 4, not 3 because of the attentive staff, this place could really need some refurbishment though

Every time i go to Corfu town, and that is often, this is my favourite. A very traditional hotel which has been upgraded internally in terms of facilities to make it more modern. This includes air conditioning which is very welcome in 35 degree heat. It is very close to the main amenities of the town ( sightseeing, bars, shops, casino and restaurants and only a 12 euRo taxi ride from the airport. The rooms at the front have the best views and the rooms At the side are overlooked by the small Corfu University. Breakfast is very continental but more than enough to set you up for the day. From Corfu town you can catch buses locally and around the island to explore. Small bar is over shadowed by the fabulous roof bar and restaurant with stunning views over garitsa bay and the main gardens And the citadel.

Stayed in the lovely hotel in Corfu Old Town for a couple of nights and really enjoyed our stay. The decor harks back to a bygone era when this hotel would have been in its prime but are clean and spacious and it's central location overlooking the coast plus it's roof top restaurant / bar with stunning views make for a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended for a whistle stop stay in order to explore the delights of the old town behind you!
