Pros: felt safe as a solo traveler. Excellent communication from host. Clean. Comfy bed. If only I was able to actually sleep…Cons: BRING EARPLUGS! It’s near a bustling tourist zone and you will hear people talking, rolling suitcases on cobblestones, scooters throughout the night. BRING A SLEEP MASK. The front door has glass on it therefore street light emanates into the small flat. It never gets completely dark! Shades on the inside of the door would be helpful. Lastly, I was glad it is on the ground level however it would have been a 29 min walk from the port with luggage so I took a taxi. Since the old town is a pedestrian zone, the taxi dropped me off adjacent to it: 15 concrete steps with all my luggage! Which basically negated the walk up stairs I wanted to avoid in the flat. Also, it was a lot smaller than I expected from the photos. Overall, fell below my expectations. This might work for heavy sleepers or those who don’t mind noise or light, but it wasn’t a good fit for me.
