Communication was almost non-existent. The entrance is an unmarked door on a narrow Old Town street. Then two flights of dark, decrepit, and narrow steep stairs carrying luggage to unmarked doors that I only knew of from another review. The host was contentious and unhelpful with pre-check in and check in, not giving any information until we paid €2 for some mystery fees. Other hosts have contacted me on What’s App prior to arrival with clear and helpful instructions. This host demanded that I contact her and pay the fee before going further. The shower has no curtain or enclosure, the shower drain was clogged and it leaked into the bathroom which made the whole floor wet. The room was noisy from the street below and there are no curtains on the windows. Towels and lighting were up to standard. Surely there are other properties you can rent. Give this one a miss and save yourself a lot of trouble.

OK apartment. Terrible communication.

For the few hours I was actually there, the apartment was OK. Centrally located. BUT. After a long, hot day of traveling and then storing my luggage until the 3 pm check-in, I never received the info on how to check in remotely. I had to stand in the street with all my stuff and try to figure out how to contact them directly on WhatsApp, since the Hotels.com/Expedia messaging system wasn't going through (or was veeeerrry slow). Finally I got the checkin details via WhatsApp. I got into the building, but the button to light the hallway/stairwell wasn't working, so I had to haul my luggage up 2 flights of narrow stairs in very dim lighting. When I got to the second floor, there were two identical doors, both of which looked like the photo of the front door they had sent me. So I just tried one of them. (As it turns out, they both lead to the same flat.) Overall, a very frustrating "checkin" experience. Other reviews have mentioned the insane, tiny shower with no door, so all the water runs everywhere. Also, there's no shelf or anyplace in the shower to put e.g. shampoo. I'm very glad I only stayed here one night.

Lovely stay in the heart of old town Corfu. Very spacious and the balcony over looking the beautiful cobble stone streets was spectacular. The kitchen had plenty of cookware to prepare a meal if you wanted to do that. Also there was coffee and a cookie to enjoy your morning’s on the balcony. The only problem I could see was a leak in the bad of the shower that got the outer floor wet along with a very thin shower curtain that kind of blew around and never stayed in place. I’m not really picky at all so those things didn’t bother me. I would definitely recommend Casa Tropicana!!

This is a wonderful property in the heart of old town. You can sit on the balcony and watch the people come and go below you, or step out the door and right into the heart of everything. The apartment is large for such an old building and was very comfortable.

Tres bien situé et agréable

Notre sejour a été plutôt positif car l’appartement est et très bien situé, tout est à proximité. Le top est le balcon. Bouchons d’oreilles indispensable le soir😅
