This was by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Concierge was so friendly efficient and helpful. Full of recommendations for excellent restaurants. We were upgraded unexpectedly but know if we had not been we would have been equally delighted. The building is beautiful and full of history, the bed and bedding were exceptionally comfortable. We will come again i am sure . The little Bar in the square was delightful. We were right by the Mesquita but it was so quiet! Would give far more than 5 stars if we could

This is a beautiful monument hotel in the heart of old town Cordoba. The staff was very helpful and attentive and gave us a free suite upgrade and some welcome gifts. The room was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Very special hotel

Wow. You know the kind of place that is so good that you don't want to tell people? This is it. But at the same time, I want to do what I kind to support the hotel. This is small (6-room) hotel, which is a converted medieval church. The conversion was done with high-quality finishes (heavy hardware, modern bathroom, etc). You really feel like you've gone back in time, but with modern comforts. The highlight is the proprietor, Javier, who was endlessly helpful, patient and professional. Honestly, I feel we got more out of the deal than he did! I would highly recommend this hotel, it made our 2 nights in Cordoba VERY special.

The service of La Ermita Suites, the only Monument Hotel in Cordoba, is so personalized, it was the owner, Javier, who welcomed us when we arrived. We were there 24-26 Oct but they’ve been in touch with us since July when we booked it. According to Javier, the hotel has been open for a little more than two years, although the restoration from a church to a hotel, lasted about 17 years. It was very tastefully done, with the old features incorporated into the clean and modern interiors. It is situated in Plaza de Abades, 3 minutes walk to the Mezquita-Catedral and 4 minutes from the Puente Romano de Córdoba, right in the historic Centro. Our special thanks to Laura who guided us through everything since the start of our journey in July. We won’t be aware that Javier is the owner if not for her. There was one downside in that Suite 1, where we stayed had an air conditioning glitch so we were advised to open the window instead. Luckily, it was late October so it’s not as hot as the summer. There was the sound of merriment filtering through till around 2am, but not enough to dampen our stay. All in all, it had been a pleasure!
