The Serrano Hotel is good located, very clean, enough comfortable and with very helpful and friendly staff. It offers almost a three-star hotel service. The only thing I didn’t like was the prices policy: from Wednesday to Friday I payed 36 euros/night for the single room; on Friday (to Saturday) I already payed 57 euros/night; on Saturday (to Sunday) the price was over 90 euros! That’s incredible/too much for a two-star hotel during low season (February) and due to that reason I left the city as I was driving my own car. Enjoy Cordoba but try to do it during working days.
10 minutes' walk from train station. Also 10 minutes' walk to mosque and other attractions. Staff were kind and helpful and Room a bit small but clean and well organized. Can park the car in front of the hotel. Breakfast very simple, bread, coffee, yogurt. If you are traveling by train, this hotel is very convenient, as this hotel is just middle between train station and mosque.
This Hotel is affordable, clean and close to the city centre but I do not recommend it. It is very noisy: all the night slamming doors, running water and a kind of ring or alarme very strong every 2 hours (maybe building next door?)day and night. You feel like the rest of guests are in your room with you. You ear the showers, the water, the conversations...everything all the time. I would suggest some kind of work for improving doors, pipes and acoustic isolation. We have been in lots of Hotel in the same range of prices/category but never like this before. We were in Room 206. Receptionists are kind but could not change us to another room.
This hotel is not a luxurious hotel in any way. The rooms are clean yet small and the walls are paper thin. The breakfast is small swell with toast, bread, fruit, juice and coffee as only alternative. It is located close to the city center and you are only a 10 min walk away from the jewish quarters and Mesquite. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby.
We have just got back from Cordoba and we stayed in Hotel Serrano and it was great. The hotel is in a great location with lots of bars & restaurants on the next street and a 5 minute walk to local shopping. It is a 15 minute walk to the old town and all the attractions. The hotel has been completely refurbished to a high standard. We were given clean towels & bedding daily. We cannot comment on the breakfast as there are so many cafe's just around the corner and cheaper. I would certainly recommend this hotel. Great value.
It was a last minute booking just before Easter, city was full of tourists and it was the last room left. Room was fine, clean and quite. Bathroom was nice with shower gel & shampoo. Breakfast was a good mix of European & traditional Spanish but breakfast time was too early for me. Around the corner is a very good fish restaurant. City center is a walking distance. Shops are near. Car parking is 5 minutes walk near the boulevard with a very nice kids playground. So the location is ideal for those who combine tourism with kids time & shopping.
The hotel is about 10 minutes’ walk from Cordoba train station and 15 minutes’ walk to Mosque – Cathedral of Cordoba. It is located inside a small street. On the main road, there are many nice and reasonably priced cafes / restaurants. As the hotel provides basic breakfast for €6, I would recommend that you have your breakfast at the cafes outside instead. The shopping area – where El Corte Inglés, Sephora, Massimo Dutti and Zara are located is just 3 minutes’ walk away - so if you need to stock up on fruits, snack and bottled water – you can get these at El Corte Inglés. We booked a Twin Room for 5 nights here. Room size is just right for 2 people with not so many clothes and luggage. Room is clean, well maintained and with enough power sockets to charge our gadgets. All the hotel staff are courteous, friendly and very helpful. If you need help with booking for sightseeing around Cordoba – just approach them. They helped us to arrange a taxi to Medinat Al-Zahra (‘cos we missed the daily bus) and wrote a text in Spanish language on what to say when we call for the taxi to fetch us from Medinat Al-Zahra back to the hotel. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. However, if your visit to Cordoba is just to visit the old town, then I would recommend that you find a place around the old town area. The reason we booked this hotel is because Cordoba was our base for us to travel to Malaga, Ronda and Seville which means we need to go to Cordoba Central Station almost every day. The nearest self-service laundry is Splash Lavandería Autoservicio which around 1km (15 minutes walk) from the hotel. Address is Calle Pintor Monserrat, 1, 14006 Córdoba, Spain. Per cycle wash cost about €4.5 - €8 and dryer another €5 (depending on load).
Very good location, short walk to old town centre. Single room a bit small but fully functional. No hairdryer in bathroom or toiletries. Courteous staff, breakfast rather meagre. Plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby.
This is a modern, middle size and nice hotel in Cordoba. Walk distance fron the train station and city center. Good value. Very clean rooms and very helpful staff. Breakfast was not the best, but was ok
On our 2 week tour of Andalusia, this was our favorite hotel. Our room was spacious (for European standards) and had a nice modern bathroom with a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet for sleeping. The hotel provided a nice breakfast which makes the price an even better value. The location was perfect: close to the train station and the old historic area.
