Lovely hotel with an amazing pool area, palm trees, landscaping and this is right in the heart of town! Good underground parking and internet. Restaurant opened late and the food exceptional. Decent continental breakfast in the morning.
I had a second floor room, the service was excellent, the place was clean and well maintained. The gardenish backyard with pool was spectacular with huge coffee tree and many exotic flowers and butterflies. The river flows behind the property making the views spectacular. Downstairs restaurant was excellent. Good air-conditioning, has iron and coffeemaker, has hair dryer. Recommended location for Americans traveling in Veracruz state.
Its a nice hotel very close to the Codoba's downtown. They just refurbished it and it looks very modern. The service is very good and the view from the restauran is great even if the restaurant is not the best. Please be patient regarding the service, this is something you will find in the Mexico's provences but chill out and enjoy
Better than expected! Great customer service, beautiful outdoor patio/ pool, nice rooms, good food and perfect atmosphere to relax. Felt like home..... Will return every time I come to Cordoba to visit.
Stayed here one night with my wife and 3 kids (ages 6, 9 & 10) while on a road trip through Mexico. This was selected purely as a place to sleep-and-go. Thanks to all the previous reviewers who helped us make an informed decision. Things we liked: The Hotel is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room faced the back of the hotel and was thankfully very quiet. There is secure basement parking. Lots of fenced grounds and pool for kids to burn off energy. Things we didn’t like: The exercise room is difficult to find -the signs just lead one on a wild goose chase. ASK someone to lead you to the exercise room if you need it. Internet is very slow -too slow to stream anything. The TV does NOT accept external inputs so one cannot even watch ones own entertainment on a big screen. The ramp to the underground parking is steep, and scraped the undercarriage of our overstuffed minivan. (In the morning I drove up the ramp without the weight of my 4 passengers, and this helped a lot). Just FYI:We ate dinner at the on-site Restaurant Los Campos. Food quality and price was acceptable. It was not great value for money, and the taste and quality were totally average. But it was safe. Dined there again for breakfast. The complimentary breakfast was simple, but enjoyable. Freshly squeezed fruit juices, good coffee, breads, cereals and yogurt or milk. For an additional 80 pesos one can get the buffet, which had 6 hot dishes of Mexican cuisine plus scrambled eggs, waffles and other goodies to choose from –a great value imo. In Summary: I feel this hotel is very good value. A clean, safe and functional place to spend the night.
I asked the maid for a bottle of water. "No." Add painfully slow Wi-Fi, so slow that I couldn't get much work done, and you get a frustrating stay. The rooms are nice enough, reasonably quiet and the restaurant is good. But this property is not recommended
We found ourselves unexpectedly spending the night in Cordoba. We picked this place because it was a recognized name and figured it was a good option for a family with three kids. The place was clean and nice, though dated. If you're looking for a place to get a good nights sleep, this is your place. If you're looking for something with authentic Mexican charm, I'd try a different place next time. This place was very fine, but nothing special.
First trip to Mexico, and this was a pleasant place to stay. Room was overlooking the beautiful gardens, and was very quiet. Staff was very friendly and efficient and the rooms were clean. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast each day, and had dinner a few times. Very clean and the food was good for a good price.
This was my first visit to Cordoba and this hotel was a very good choice. It's built on the side of a hill facing one of the main streets of Cordoba, about 20 minutes walk to the Zocalo and center of town. The hotel's pool is in a wonderful setting, very quiet and green at the base of the hill. Service was friendly and efficient, the rooms are large and very clean. For the quietest stay, it's best to ask for a room on the back of the hotel rather than facing the road. And the weather was cool enough during my stay it could be comfortable with the window open. I never used the air conditioner. WiFi was very reliable in the room.
This is an OK place to stay. The entrance to the parking area (under the hotel) is a little hard to do. It is a very steep hill that you have to go down so you cannot see where you are going until AFTER you turn and start to enter. If they did not have a man there to help it would be impossible. The room was OK but it was right next to the restaurant. There is a hall one the first floor by the restaurant with tables so, you get the lights from the hall shining all night and you get the noise from people eating. Or as it was the night we stayed, a group of young people talking VERY loud until about 1am. We know in Mexico to check the room first be we were tired and not thinking. Food in the restaurant was very limited so we walked around the area (about 7 or 8 blocks) to try to find some place to eat. The area, like the hotel, is VERY limited in places to eat. People at the desk were very nice but I do not think I would stay there again.
