I have stayed in this hotel before, there are two folks Belem and Diego, who need to be recognized for their awesome customer service. The hotel is centrally located, near many restaurants, a great shopping center, and also some sightseeing places.
The hotel is centrally located, close to restaurants, shopping and San Martin and Independence parks. Our suite was spacious and adequate but spaces in the flooring displayed a certain lack of attention to detail. The breakfast was ok and fulfilled the dietary restrictions of our one of our traveling companions. Front desk were helpful and provided good information.
I was very pleased with the Amerian Cordoba hotel, staff and room. The man at the desk was very helpful. The room was clean and attractive. The hotel was in the heart of city and close to airpot shopping and variety of dining. I would definitely stay again if in Cordoba.
This is an average but still good hotel. A bit old (and you can perceive this even being at the room). It is very well located, near from some great places at the Córdoba City heart. Just next to this one, you can find the Amerian Executive which is undoubtedly a better option.
Well sized room however some crucial things showed that they are very poorly maintained. I couldnt connect to the wifi with my cel (however my laptop was connected-thank God!). Heavily used sheets that although were clean you could see that they were old, especially when you would compared them to a new pillow case. Plastic bowls and glasses when you order room service and in the breakfast for the fruit salad and the orange juice ... switches that were broken ... old and yellow telephones in the room.
this is not a terrible hotel, its a very average hotel rooms on upper floors are renovated but they left old phones old lamps and old carpet so they only did half a job location is good but noisy on main avenue the biggest problem of this hotel is the breakfast which is the poorest I had in the last 10 years of travelling to argentina, including several stays at this hotel, but now it is run by NOVECENTO which is an overrated pretentious chain, and so the included breakfast is very poor as the restaurant gives priority to the people that come from outside to eat the service is appalling, with the cow that acts as a hostess welcoming you while eating and talking with a full mouth, and waiters that simly do n ot wait on you if you are a hotel guest, and they ask straight, are you hotel guest? and then they leave the variety and the quality of food is horrible, with dry medialunas that are a staple of breakfast and every hotel I stayed had homemade good ones, these are dry and obviously not homemade extremely low quality ham (canned ham....) and poor cheese Self service bad orange juice in tiny cups, a few dry cakes and unpeeled fruit Between the hotel being average, the noise, and the poor breakfast, there is no reason to come back location is good so choose the NH panorama or the Yrigoyen 111 hotel, both better choices
I visit Cordoba often and stay a this hotel, now the time has gone by this hotel and no maintenance performed in the rooms, baseboard away from the walls, tear down wall papers,etc... The morning breakfast is very limited, the selection is the same every morning. I will my stay in this hotel any more
Right in the center of downtown and easy to get to lots of restaurants. There is a mall next door for shopping and picking up souvenirs for family. The breakfast is good and the room was clean. I wanted to work out but the the gym only has 3 or 4 pieces of old equipment so it wasn't an option. Overall a good place to stay!
Great location, comfortable rooms, but they can be very noisiy if you get one facing the street. Desk clerks are competent but distant and cold, except for the only girl, who always has a smile and a good attitude. Blanckets, pillows and towels are old and stained. They should renew them entirely. I had friends staying in other rooms and they all said the same thing. Good wifi, not so good A/C. They should change to individual mini splits.
This hotel was very well kept and always clean. We would happily give it 5 stars, except that the rugs and some of the flooring and some of the bath fixtures were a bit old and shabby. But clean beats new any time, so we would go back to this place with no qualms. Congratulations to the hotel staff on running such a tight ship. The hotel restaurant (Novecento) is quite nice--the breakfast is simple, but pleasant and varied enough that one can fill up for the day with no problem. Dinners in this restaurant were excellent (reviewed separately).
