Summary:
This magnificent penthouse on the 7th floor of a new building highlights the best of modern city living.

With two spacious terraces, canal views, huge windows all around, two nice and clean bathrooms, wine fridge and the highest eco achievements for residential buildings this is a great choice if you value a high quality living standard.

The airport is a short 15 minute drive from the apartment and if you cross the canal by the newly opened pedestrian bridge you are right by Tivoli, Kødbyen and Town Hall square.

The Space:
A tour of the space
Take the spacious elevator to the 7th floor of this residential building along the main canal of Copenhagen harbour.

Enter the apartment door into the entrance area with space for leaving suitcases, shoes and overcoats.

To your left is the master bedroom with a kingsize(180x200cm) bed with a hypoallergenic pillow selection and warm hotel duvets. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom with a spacious shower and washer and dryer free to use.

To your right the living room opens up but before that another bathroom which also has a shower with plenty of warm water that never runs out.

The living room masterpiece is the big comfortable sofa that unfolds to a queensize(160x200cm) high quality sleeping couch. There is a 43” Samsung smart TV with free Netflix.

The second sofa also unfolds to a single (120x200cm) bed in case you are 7 guests.

The first terrace has nice lounge furniture, plenty of sun and canal views.

Around the corner the open kitchen and dining area is finished in modern Scandinavian design with a white and clean finish.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare homemade meals or host a dinner. There is even a good size wine fridge.

The cool red dining table has space for 7 guests and to the right is the exit to the second terrace which has outdoor dining furniture.

Next to the kitchen is the second bedroom with a big wardrobe and another kingsize bed but this one can split into singles if preferred. Blackout windows, a wall fan and high quality mattresses is our “good sleep guarantee”.

The Neighborhood:
The Pier apartments are situated on Islands Brygge which is across the canal from the busy city center. The neighbourhood is a summer hang out spot favoured by locals. The harbour bath attracts sunbathers and youngsters for a dip in the extraordinary clean city water. With plenty of local eateries, supermarkets and a beautiful newly built walking and bicycle path that takes you over the canal this is a laid back, upscale, local and yet central location for visiting Copenhagen.

Stay was great check out different

We enjoyed the apartment very clean and accurate listing. We have a couple of suggestions going forward:1) the shower in master bathroom moves around during shower time. 2) have shower gel and soap in shower. 3) better description for garbage; ie. recycling items and where to place them. 4) better instructions for stovetop. We needed to use YouTube videos to determine how to operate stovetop. I requested a late check out. Received an approval with no further explanation. On day of departure learned that supposedly I was sent an email asking for additional payment. I never received email. Even now 10 hours after departure I still haven’t received email. Needed to leave in 30 minutes. Not happy with response from cleaning staff or rental service other than sorry but you must leave now.
