Good value for money , friendly staff , clean rooms Train station 2 min away if you want to visit copenhagen Food was good quality and very nice enviroment in restourang Shopping mall is just 5 min away walking from hotel

I'm actually on my last night of a nine-day stay at the Quality Hotel Høje Taastrup. I was really concerned about quality because this hotel got bad reviews by other travelers, but this hotel is within a five minute walk to my company's office. I choose not to drive when traveling to foreign countries so I choose hotels within walking distance of the office. In terms of the rooms, I requested a refurbished room and I'm very happy with it in terms size, cleanliness and amenities. I have a flat screen tv and internet at my disposal and the room comes with a small fridge, which is nice because there's also a Fotex City (supermarket) across the street where I can get salads and even wine at a reasonable price. The hotel is also within a two minute walk to the Høje Taastrup train station, which means that I can go into the city in 25 to 30 minutes. In terms of breakfast, it consists of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, coffee, milk, cured meats, cheese, cereals and yogurt. And the hotel also has a restaurant where you can have dinner. Please note that this is my personal experience and that this hotel meets my expectations and that this is/was a business trip. If you're visiting Denmark for tourist reasons, this hotel is outside the City Center and as other travelers have shared, the surrounding area consists of businesses so there isn't a night life, but I wasn't looking for one so again another personal choice. After work, all I want is peace and quiet and I achieved by staying at this hotel. If you're looking for a night life or luxury, I'd recommend one of the hotels in the City Center and you probably won't be disappointed. Høje Taastrup

A nice newly refurbished hotel yet I was given an old dated room right at the back of the hotel, asked if I would like a newly refurbished room but this was an upgrade !! What happens when the hotel is finished, do all customers pay the same then ?!?!

Clean, nice, comfortable location next to the train station. Next to the big shopping mall. Maybe going trains are a bit noisy if you are staying in that side of the hotel. But in general, breakfast area was really good!

Rooms are large and quiet, bathrooms could use some renovation. The surrounding it absolutely boring - no place to stay for pleasure, but OK for a business stay. They provide free WIFI and breakfast is really a good start into the day.

Room itself and all furniture was old, but during our stay we saw that some part of the hotel was being renovated, so I guess rooms will look better in nearest future. Rooms are too dark for people coming for business - very hard to work evenings in the room. Breakfast is far from good, definetely need to do something with it. People can choose from - oily scrambled eggs, soft (!!!) boiled eggs, bacon, potato balls (or some equivalent), sandwiches, yoghurt. No toaster, no porrige, no hard boiled eggs. Location is OK for business trip - shopping mall nearby, where we could have dinner & buy some food.

Alright when having to do in that area and someone wants to stay close to the business area. Nothing elsewise going on in that area, though. Price was quite high for being that far away from Copenhagen.

First room i got assigned was smoked in. The smell was obvious and the smoke detector was taped off. The cleaning personell did not notice?! But i got a new room with fresh air. All their rooms i have seen are heavily outdated. The bathroom is crappy, rusty and with broken items. The desk almost falls apart and the electricity points could not have been placed more illogical. The breakfast was good, only things i missed was fresh fruit and real coffee (they had powder "coffee" which was not nice). The rooms are pretty soundproof. The trains rushing by were not an annoyance to me. I only stay here because there is no alternative for me considering where i need to be for work. The rooms are way too expensive, i would rate it 2 stars and 80 euro per night maximum.

We were greeted by excellent service in the reception. Checking in late in the evening, close to 22, we found the restaurant closed and few options in the neighbourhood. Found a pizzeria about 5 min away. Rooms felt very dated and in need of an upgrade, which I know parts of the hotel were going through. Warm water took several minutes to get, so don't expect a quick shower. There were nothing wrong with the cleaning and the room offered the bare necessities. The TV was on the slow side, but offered enough channels for me. Parts of the hotel are already upgraded, like the reception and restaurant. The breakfast offered a wide selection that should appeal to most people. The hotels site states fitness center, but no pictures of it. I understood why when I saw it. It's just a very small room with two treadmills, a crosstrainer and a stationary bike. There's some floor space, approx 1,5x5m in front of the machines for other excersise. There were one pair of 1,5 kg dumbbells and a single 3 kg dumbbell. Very disappointing, but I could work out anyhow. I hope they upgrade the gym somewhat as ill spend some time in Taastrup and want a decent hotel with a functional gym.

The hotel itself looks fine from the outside and the lobby and so on. However, the 'economy' rooms are awfully cheap-looking. Heating did not work in the room (in the middle of winter). Got moved to a superior room - still no heating. On top of that, THERE WAS NO HOT WATER. I mean... maybe enough to wash your hands, but far from being able to bathe. The breakfast buffet is terrible. The omelets are very suspicious in the way they smell, the coffee is watery. Note that there is no shampoo or hand soap provided. There is only 'universal' soap, the one you see mounted to a wall in gym showers. Would not recommend.
