We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was was nice and had everything we needed. The staff where very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel.

Fin beliggenhed i fht. tog og centrum af Kbh.

Et weekendophold på 2 nætter. Pænt værelse med gode senge og meget lidt støj fra tog og biler udenfor. Praktisk med Vesterport Station kun få skridt fra hotellet. Brusekabinen er meget smal, men ellers alt ok på værelset. Glimrende morgenbuffet, dog var kaffen ikke værd at drikke.

Perfect location and a good night’s sleep

It was my husband, daughter and me who only stayed for one night in a triple room. The third bed was a proper bed with its own night table and light. The pillows etc were very comfortable. The towels were thick and nice. Kleenex in the bathroom which I appreciate. Tea kettle in the room with tea, hot chocolate and coffee. The breakfast was over my expectations and in my view nothing was missing. Huge of variety of things to eat and drink. 50 meters to a supermarket.

There’s construction underway in front of the hotel. Breakfast buffet is good. Our room on the second floor was next to a tennis court and was hard to take a nap during a game. Also hotel does not have nearby restaurants except one Italian restaurant which was a little bit pricey.

Great location, but issues with power and wifi

The building is quite old. The room was fine but had a slight musty smell. The hotel's central location is a big plus. One evening, the lights went out because of an issue with the fuse box. We were told that we might not have power until the next day (fortunately, it came back later in the night). The wifi was very spotty, which affected my ability to work.

Tired, in every respect

I almost felt for the young man behind the reception desk when the third customer came to complain about the terrible wifi, but then I remembered I was holding a lukewarm bottle of beer as both draft taps weren't working, and I had a second night ahead of me in my overly hot room without a/c and walls that allowed the sounds of the toilet next door in use to reverberate around my room. May all be a freak one off, but no plans to try again to find out. On the plus side, the location is convenient and the breakfast is solid enough.

My experience was not that great. Breakfast was good, and the best of our experience. Staff was not so friendly, especially when I requested mattress change or to upgrade the room. Low water pressure in bathroom, making difficult to shower or wash our face or fill the kettle.

Be aware that the hotel is across the street from the screeching regional trains. When the weather is cold, this isn't a big issue, but when it is warm, and the window is open (no AC) then it is. Under these conditions, getting a room at the back of the building is highly recommended. Note that the hotel offers free ear plugs -- that tells you something.
