Knight's Inn

Great for the price.

I wasn't expecting a five-star experience. My room was old but clean. There was a fridge, microwave, and flat screen tv: all in perfect working order and new/newer. The carpet and bedding also were newer. The mattresses appeared to be extremely new. There's old paneling on the walls and ceiling but it makes for a cabin feel. Shower pressure was great. AC unit worked extremely well! Had to turn it warmer in the middle of the night. Breakfast was pre-packaged cinnamon rolls, etc., with hot coffee. Again, for the price, I wasn't expecting an all-you-can-eat buffet. The outdoor pool is small and was not filled. That may be a seasonal issue, though. The motel sits on a main thoroughfare but traffic noise was not obnoxious at all; I heard sirens once and a loud engine from a "cool" person letting everyone know of his existence. Otherwise, I was never bothered by it. Very near multiple fast food restaurants, grocery stores, Walmart, etc. I would have no problem staying here again!!

Budget Inn & Suites Brownwood

They have roaches!

Horrible scared to close my eyes. Blood stain on wall. Looks like someone spit on walls as well. Iron didn't even work. Even Breakfast wasn't good, scared to drink from anything. Pool in horrible condition. Roaches crawling everywhere. Saw about 5- 8 different places.

Flagship Inn

Friendly staff, decent accommodations.

Rooms were recently renovated and looked nice. With tile floors and hard beds it could have been more comfortable. WiFi only worked in the lobby but not a huge deal. Staff was very friendly. Would stay again if I don't bring the boat or had somewhere else to park it.
