We stop at desk requesting our room cleaned. Returning back to room late that night the room was never cleaned. Then they levy a $48.70 hold on my fiancee credit card that is still pending on her card today. Know one at the DoubleTree knew what the charge is for. I wasted time waiting on an accountant who never called us back or never showed up when we were told that he would be available. The $30.00 per day hold all cleared.

Nice and clean hotel, small fitness room, no ventilation in bathroom, thermostat did not appear to read accurately therefore heat initially wouldn’t start, friendly staff

Didn't know breakfast was not complimentary until I went down in the morning. This was embarrassing, it should have been explained at check in.

Very uncomfortable bed. The bed was slanted to the side

We had to keep the AC cold in order to sleep and no vent in the bathroom for the steam made the room very humid, and the TV reception was scattered. Lost signal in the middle of a show.

This is a really nice hotel. It is dated a little but it is nice. The staff is very friendly and were just fun to be around. The housekeeping staff was THE BEST. Ask for Eugene aka Twin and she will give you the best service. She was by far a stand out!! The shower is amazing!! The only complaint would be the rooms are a little dated, but nice. Great location and great breakfast!! Love this hotel!!

Loved the free shuttle!! Took me to river walk shopping and airport. Friendly and knowledgeable drivers

Staff and everyone was so helpful and friendly welcoming it felt like home away from

Door lock not working properly. inside night time security lock broken took 27 times to enter room with card. will not go back.

We used this hotel as an option when visiting our son (an Auburn University student) during football season. All hotels in Auburn increase they rates to ridiculous levels, so we were looking for a semi-close, but nice, cost effective option. This DoubleTree fit that goal to a tee. The hotel is easy to get to, clean, and offers a nice set of amenities. It also was available for a very reasonable rate, and the staff at the hotel were top notch. This hotel is about 35 minutes from Auburn University, which is a very easy drive. If you're in Columbus, or even visiting Auburn, Alabama, this hotel is a great option.

Convenient location, beautiful amenities and comfortable room. Except for a spotty wi-fi, this was a pleasurable experience.

The hotel is a prime location close to everything on a good side of town. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of towels available in bathroom. The only small drawback was the air conditioner was stuck on for a few hours but after calling the front desk, they walked us through how to turn it off.

Great hotel only thing there's no microwave in the rooms, other than that good hotel!

The hotel is really nice. The rooms are big and comfy and includes a fridge. It was a nice stay during my business trip. I've stayed in other hotels in Columbus, but this one has a good location (other than DT hotels) and plenty of stores and restaurants close by. The only thing I'd recommend looking out for is to make sure your reservation includes breakfast. I did my reservation through this website and it was disappointing to find out that I need to pay 15 dollars extra to eat hotel breakfast. Although it was an unpleasant surprise, the hotel breakfast is better than average and worth the money to spend on it.

My family had a comfortable reunion while we awaited my son's basic training graduation.

The check in was smooth...once we realized the reservation had been made for the wrong weekend. The room was clean and well appointed. I was pleased with the selection in an area I am not that familiar with.
