Recent guest reviews

Not impressed with staff. Seemed to ha e low morale. Observed and heard manager correcting staff in dining area and near elevator in earshot of guests. Only hotel ever stayed at where there was no room cleaning on weekends.

staff behind check-in desk were very friendly, staff at breakfast buffet were very helpful, overall it was a very very pleasant stay

Great hotel and very clean. Breakfast was wonderful

The experience was much, much better than the reviews we read. The hotel is about completed with renovating the downstairs and the breakfast was really good. We would stay here again.

I choose this hotel because it was pet friendly and close to the University Hospital where a family member was having surgery. The location was perfect. My only issue, was the heater, the night of our arrival I took all night for the room to warm up. The service guy said that the heat vent was in the middle and that it was putting out the best it could. But, after it warmed up, the room comfort was good. Will stay again

We were there for a conference. Overall with the 3 star rating we were expecting a mediocre room, but were pleasantly surprised. The good - The staff was nice, the room was large (king bed) and clean, comfortable bed, close to the University, and great free breakfast. The bad - The walls were a little thin, so we could hear the people around us turn on the water, I am a sound sleeper, so no issues there. The weekend staff for breakfast were not their best on Saturday morning with delays in refilling foods and cleaning off tables, but it was busy. Again, for what we paid, it was a good deal and we would stay again.

Great Room... Lots of space, great amenities free breakfast, nice indoor pool, very clean place & friendly helpful staff!!!

The bathroom in our room had ceramic tiles that were coming off the floor. We had to tape the tiles down to avoid tripping or injuring our feet. We did not have coffee for the coffee pot and the room did not appear to be very clean - really in need of cleaning the sofa and carpet. I would also suggest some new pillows; they were the lumpiest I've ever used. However, the staff was very helpful and assisted us with getting what we needed. We probably would not stay at this hotel again. Thank you.

Breakfast-good variety each morning and free. Staff-courteous, helpful. Fitness room-the only two bikes were malfunctioning, treadmills worked. Nice suite with kitchen, would definitely stay there again. Very reasonable price.

The room was gorgeous and very clean. The kitchen would be wonderful for extended stay travelers. The breakfast buffet was delicious every morning and there's complimentary gourmet coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The pool looked nice (didn't go because no swimsuit). They allow pets with a 40 pound weight limit and charge a non-refundable deposit. The will not clean your room if your pet is there alone and not crated, though. My only complaint was that, like so many other hotels in the area, they majorly jacked up the price for graduation weekend.

Thank you for your feedback; please know that as of a few weeks ago, the property is under new ownership. We maintain high standards and plan to provide our guests with exceptional customer service as well as renovating the property this year. The Staybridge is an extended-stay property and does not provide services on the weekends, which is fairly standard in that model of hotel style. We hope you will give us another try in the future when visiting Columbia.
