Good comfortable beds and quiet. Though skeptical at first as the facility was near the main road, rooms must have hand thicker walls than thought. Negatives: a weird smell when walked in and took 20 minutes to air out. Could have been a vinegar smell in which they used to clean. Also, got 2 pounds on the door, one at 9:55 am, and another at 10:20. And also a phone call at 10:12 am, by staff either wanting us to leave to requesting when we would leave. Usually check out time in hotels is by 11 or noon. Seemed self-serving and rude as we wanted to sleep in from a long journey from the day before. Just let people be. But that said, the bed was one of the most comfortable of any hotel I stayed in. So, like most situations, positives and negatives. But to get excellence in a rating, more would have needed to be attended to, like the human aspect.

Sandy at the front desk was a delight and so helpful in answering our questions about the area, helping us track down a few things that we needed and always being available for anything that popped up. We enjoyed our stay in the two bedroom townhome. Very comfortable and had everything we needed, including space so that we could spread out and relax. We will stay here again when we’re in the area.

I stayed in Cabin #5 and it was clean and comfortable. I just stayed one night but was looking for a more vacation feel and this did the trick. While the furnishings are a little dated, it actually fit the theme of a cabin and is a great value for the money.

Courteous desk, allowing early check in, hot water cozy cabins.

My room was very clean and it's decor was rustic. I enjoyed being in a cabin. I felt a sense of privacy. Water pressure was good in the shower. There is a small, nice kitchen. They served a nice little continental breakfast. I will stay there again.

Highly recommend for winter travel (since it is now winter). Great accomodations, great breakfast. Near the Dinosaur Museum and Wolf Sanctuary.

Room was very cold when we checked in and took almost 2 hours to warm up. Heater kept shutting off so I checked it. The removable filter was clean but behind it was very dusty blocking the thermostat. I did let the front desk know. Other than that was great! Will stay again

Close to the center of town. set off the road so you here all the traffic. The rooms are super cute, rustic furniture comfortable beds good layout very happy with my experience. There was a binder on the table with all the cool things to do in the area and menues for all the restaurants.

Large, clean, comfortable room. Good breakfast choices.

Adequate room but nothing great. Average free breakfast. WIFI didn’t work. Tv remote was missing but we didn’t watch tv anyway. I. Didn’t find it quaint or excellent. Just a very average place to spend the night with very average accommodations

The staff at the Eagle Fire Lodge could not have been more helpful and accommodating to our needs. My husband and I checked in just ourselves but asked if we could have our children spend the night with us the following night (kids were with the grandparents). They said that was fine, just let them know if we decided to do so. The check-in time was from 4-7. We were late, no big deal at all. Check-out time was 10am, we barely made it, but again, no big deal. We were not made to feel rushed. We stayed in RM 126. It was large and had everything you could possibly need in terms of kitchen supplies. Our bed was HUGE and nicely appointed. My son (14) slept on the pull out couch and said it was one of the more comfortable pull out couches he'd ever slept on, (and he's slept on a lot). My daughter (6) opted to sleep on the recliner and was out like light.

magic staff, but bed is terribly old not comfortable at all. Rooms dark and musty, bedding very old. but it does have everything you need.

Very nice rooms, very nice staff.nice location ..nice town, friendly people'.

We recently had our wood floors refinished and it was necessary to be out of the house for a few days so we stayed at the Eagle Fire Lodge. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

The room was super clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was perfect for our little getaway. Would and will definitely go back.

Great location, great staff, comfortable rooms. Beautiful area
