The hotel is located near the entrance to the Free Trade Zone but another hotel has a private gate to the Zone. The restaurant had good service and very good social distancing and enforcement of mask wearing when not at a table. The shower head was at about 5 feet 8 inches and pointed down. Construction across the street was unsightly. Garbage on sidewalk leading to the zone was plain ugly.
The room was acceptable but the bathroom was not very welcoming.It has been stained over the years and not properly cleaned and the design of the shower area needs attention as water continuously flows down to other area instead of into the tub. The bathroom was dinghy and does not make one feel that the place is clean!
I stayed the night before at this hotel and they tried to give me a room that had a sweat smell because of humility in the room. They then moved us to another room it wasn't the cleanest but it hadn't tile floor. The second night we got into the room with orbit booking and the air condition didn't cool down the room so instead of trying to move us to another room the maintenance man said that it was working the maximum and that in a few hours it should cool down.The whole time it did not move downwards so this hotel ruined my night.
The bathroom moreso the shower was not at all acceptably clean!!

Overall, the Hotel was good value as it included breakfast. The room was excellent and well maintained. Some staff were somewhat unfriendly, but others made up for it when they smiled. The dinner was OK, but the wine was non-existent, with only one red wine available and no white wine at all. Would stay again if the noted issues were resolved.
Quite good. At check out time my safe could not open and it took more than an hour to get it removed and cut to get my contents.
Colon is a pretty rough city, but the Hotel and the little shopping center are nice and safe. Hotel was 1st class, rooms were nice and clean and the pool was great, we had it all to ourselves. Taxis were available to take you anywhere with friendly english speaking drivers, would advise not to walk around Colon alone, especially at night, take a cab.
