A Stayed in the hotel a month ago with my friend. This hotel is very near to the Airport, it was very convenient for those who is travelling in the Late flight and early flights. The buffet price is also reasonable. I really like the Peacock restaurant as I settled in UK even though we have Indian restaurants it doesn't tastes much. All the staff was very helpful & trained well about the standards. I would like to thank all the staff who made our stay wonderful right from the Gate security to the top management
I've been to few hotels in Coimbatore, but this is one of the best kind. Great ambience, good food, it was pleasure staying there with family to enjoy the summer. One more thing is the trainer at the pool named Rocky... Hez very helpful and soo very guiding for a non swimmer like me and my daughter. One heart touching moment is the timely help made by the room service guy named karthick when my 2 yr old daughter was in need of milk midnite. Overall a very satisfying stay. I would definitely recommend people who visit Coimbatore to drop in le meridien.
Stayed 5 nights and had a good time. Rooms are suitable for business travellers, WiFi is free and worked well for the most part except in the bathroom. Had to call the housekeeping 3 times one evening for some water but that was the exception. Location not far from the airport. Clearly recommending it for business stay in Coimbatore/Kovai.
Le meridian Coimbatore is a good hotel which has all you need. Nice bar and good welcoming service. Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast is ok and has good variety, fresh fruit and juices but the music is too loud and little annoying. Dinner was good and service excellent. As for the rooms, they are spacious and clean. Price wise absolutely fair. Good place for a night on business trip I would not recommend for holiday
I thought let stay in 5 star properties to have wonderful service. The rooms lobby and everthing is wonderful clean with all amenities you want. I was just pissed of by their service in restaurant was really bad, the staff was not able to manage the buffet or guest, not expected from starwood family. I do want to say about lobby and rooms as it is really nice and spotless clean no doubts. The night buffet priced 1100 was not worth it, as half of things were not available to eat. They staff were not attending the guest properly I think it was shortage of staff but the story was same next day while having breakfast nobody attains you properly. Even you need to carry your luggage to your room, no service boy/ bell boy available to help, I thought might be self service. My advice to travellers is if you want to just stay this is ok but if you are like me want service too then I shall not advice to be in this hotel. The hotel is in outskirts too and far away from city but near to airport.
The hotel is around 3 to 4 km from the Coimbatore Airport but a little far off from the Railway Station. The standard rooms offered are one of the most spacious rooms I have come across during my trips pan India. The interior design of the room and the overall layout of the rooms are very appealing. A lot of variety was offered by the hotel during the buffet meals offered. The swimming pool of the hotel is bigger compared to other hotels. The staff was very courteous and helpful. A memorable stay.
I was travelling from Mysore to Kochi, and was doing a pit stop in Coimbatore to catch up on my Air Force veteran friends. Check in was fast. Why do I get a feeling that the property is grossly under utilized.. I can see a lot of empty spaces.. making it look like I am watching high prison walls. No pun intended,, but they definitely need to make the place look more lively. The bar and the lounge area are really dark and uninviting in the evenings. I was late for the happy hours.. so no comments. Ordered some food in the room. Nothing great. But may be I did not order the right food. The morning break fast was good. Nothing to rave about, but it was good. What needs a fillip is service and the general decor in the inside. Will definitely go there more
Went to the peacock restaurant for my wife's birthday celebration The decoration of the table with candles , roses were ausum and the cake was excellent The food which was served here tasted excellent both veg and non veg My wife was so happy ... My wife and me thoroughly enjoyed the evening Thank you so much Mani , Hari and Antony For making our celebration wounderful
It was very classic hotel and many varieties of food where available in hotel and very very rich and classic hotel it has many kinds of foods and countries of food like Italian India and Chinese also I will be here and very less price
Le Meridien is conveniently close to the CJB airport, away from the hustel and bustel of the city. The staff at the reception were very efficient and ensured that the check in and check out formalities were a breeze with minimal waiting time. The room that I checked into was large with an excellent view of the open country side. I used the restaurant only during breakfast. The options were quite good but standard fare that any of the other hotels would have offered, Very well maintained and efficient, Le Meridien is definitely a first rate property to stay in while in Coimbatore.
