We had a 3 night stay in one of the spa rooms. Room was spotless, bed comfy great pillows, huge spa. Perfect walking distance to town. Had dinner in restaurant ( was limited menu) we had lamb cutlets and vegetables. Was a very nice meal . Staff were outstanding Will definitely stay here next time we visit coffs.
Convenient location off the highways for an overnight stay. Hotel is solidly in the mid-range of motels, not hip but not dingy either. Walk-in showers, good water pressure, clean, and with a few cosmetic updates that freshened up the room. Soft bed. Ok wifi. The surprise was the restaurant: really good food. Linguini, fresh fish, salads-- three-star food for a motel. And the reception/bartender/waitress/hopefully-not-the-dishwasher-too--she was excellent. Warm, welcoming, and very good at her job. She deserves a raise.
This is a great place to stay if you are travelling north to the Gold Coast. The reception staff are super friendly and the restaurant is superb. Clean and comfortable rooms. We highly recommend this hotel. Have been staying here each year for the last 6 years and it never disappoints .
We had an overnight stay at the Quality Inn City Centre in Coffs Harbour on a recent trip to the Gold Coast. Accommodation options in Coffs at the time were limited due to an Oz tag carnival. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. It was well appointed if a little dated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Despite another review suggesting it was noisy due to the location to the main road it was surprisingly quiet. Overall we would stay again.
A good spot to stay if on business in Coffs Harbour. Good value for money, nice staff, the restaurant was very accommodating and whipped me up a meal even though i was late in. The coffee made on site was good.
This place was beautiful comfortable and clean the staff were friendly and helpful I’d definitely recommend them it is a great location and walking distance to the shops they have a pool and rooms with a spa a little restaurant that looked fantastic
I have recently stayed at the Quality Inn City Centre in Coffs Harbour and I just had to mention the impeccable service I received from in particular Michael who was servicing the front desk. He welcomed me with a generous smile and made the checking in process effortless. He also went out of his way to fetch me a phone charger which was completed quickly and with a minimum of fuss. Michael would certainly be an asset for any business let alone hotels. Thank you for making my brief stay very enjoyable
The room was reasonable for a country motel but no better than average, so don't be misled by the word Quality. However, the problem is noise, and not just the Pacific Highway traffic. The building is of such poor construction that any noise from other guests travels through the building. To make it worse, half the floor is not carpeted (which means the downstairs guest can hear every step an upstairs guest makes in hard heels) and the plumbing has problems. In our case, we were woken by the noise of the guests above us who came in at about 2:00 am. We could clearly hear them walking around, any time a chair was dragged or something was put down. Then, when a tap was turned on, a noise very similar to a hole being drilled into the wall rang through the place. This went on for about half an hour until they went to bed. I don't blame the guests at all, they were just doing the normal stuff everyone does. When I complained next morning the only response I got from a bored and uninterested staff member was that no one else ever complained about this and that other guests may be heavier sleepers than I. Somehow I figured it would be my fault all along. It was like a scene from Fawlty Towers.
We stopped over on a trip to the gold coast. Whilst a basic family studio the room was spacious, very clean, beds are comfy and we cannot fault a thing. It's o 5 star luxury resort but for a 1 night stop over it is as good as it gets. The Coast Hotel is a 3 minute walk down the road and is an awesome pub covering everything a pub should. Publican is a friendly guy and is open to try before you buy wine tasting 😋
Stayed one night while travelling north. Customer service was great. Room was well appointed and quite modern - great shower too. Comfy, firm bed. Close to the highway but noise was not an issue at all. Very nice spot.
