We held a group training session here over 2 days and I could not fault the venue, accomodation and services. It is one of the best training room set ups I have had with Mathew looking after every detail, which left little for me to do or worry about as the Trainer. The accomodation was good too - large clean room with a modern bathroom and good room service food. I would be delighted to stay and train here again.
In the past we've always avoided overnight stays in Coffs only because we wanted to get through it as quickly as possible. However, this time we decided to give this Quality Inn a go, which is just off the highway. Check in was quick, there was free on site parking, our room was on the lower ground floor and was very quiet. Ideal for the night, good wi-fi, decent size bathroom and a very comfy bed. The only drawback for us was that the room was quite dark, but apart from that it was fine, and it wouldn't deter us from staying here again. Very good value.
Perfect for a one night stay, the room was well appointed and comfortable. While the hotel is on the highway, it is set back from the road and well soundproofed. Rooms are fairly modern, and have everything you need. The breakfast in the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. While the buffet is only continental, the hot breakfast made to order was great value and of cafe quality. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again when passing through Coffs.
Coffs Harbour is notorious for its lack of decent, modern accommodation. Port Macquarie with Mercure and Rydges is way ahead. Everything in Coffs regarding accommodation is old and dated. This place is best of the bunch here. The room I had was a little dated, but clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Matt, and the restaurant food was fine. The room rates (mine was $180!) is way over-priced for what you get, but in Coffs Harbour you really don't have a choice if you want somewhere decent. WiFi works very well, showers strong. Some signage around the hotel showing which room numbers are in which direction would be extremely useful for arriving guests. Not a bad place overall, I'd come back, but it is quite pricey.
Traveling back from Fraser Island stayed for the night . Great family room with separate adults bedroom, single bed and sofa bed was good for the kids, reasonable price and good location. Would highly recommend .
We stayed a night at the Quality Inn on our way further south. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Service was very good. The fridge in our room wasn't working. A telephone call had the fridge replaced within minutes with apologies. We had dinner in the restaurant and again the service was excellent. Our meals were fresh and tasty. We would definitely recommend dining here. The staff at all times were friendly and efficient. Thank you
Greeted by very friendly and helpful staff (Dani) at reception, clean spacious room, comfortable bed, blockout curtains, generous sized evening meal delivered by room service -couldn't ask for better Highly recommended.
Quality continues to improve at this motel. Rooms are immaculate, restaurant is great and the staff are friendly and efficient. Have been staying here many years now and would not consider anywhere else.
We stayed one night in a 3 bedroom apartment. From the moment we arrived, we were made very welcome. When checking in we were given recommendations on what to see, places to eat etc. The accommodation was very clean with the living area downstairs and the rooms upstairs. Our room had a washing machine and dryer which enabled us to catch up on our washing. The room had free WiFi, which as was mentioned when we checked in "is more important than hot water" for our 9, 11 & 13 year old :) We parked on the street as the Apartment carport and driveway was quite small for our car, but given the hotel is on a service road of the pacific highway, this was not an issue. I couldn't recommend the 3 bedroom apartments highly enough to families. In hindsight, we probably should have stayed for longer as there was so much we could have seen and done in and around Coffs Harbour.
After the disaster that was Aqualuna resort and it’s filthy state. Thank you for saving us. One phone Call and you had a great three bedroom unit ready for us. The facilities are wonderful, clean neat and above most standards. Your staff member was lovely and helpful. The bed and sitting areas are great and the ducted air is wonderful. Your property is a perfect example of how to have an older property up to a high standard. Can’t thank you enough.
