A nice resort by the beach. Lots of greens. Bush turkeys and possums were cute. However, Vodafone coverage was very weak to none. It was slightly better on Sunday early morning though. And free WiFi is too weak and is almost unusable. Not a big deal but when I checked in, I wasn’t given the WiFi access code, so I had to walk back to the reception to get one. Why did I not just call from the room? Well, the room phone was out of order! I could see that floor in front of the kitchenette wasn’t cleaned properly when I turned the light on. Noise from adjoining room wasn’t insulated. I woke up at 12:30am because next door was talking very loudly and listening to music which lasted for a few hours. Access to/from car park 3 was short and easy but when entering, you have to insert the key to open the gate even tho you just need to drive closer to the gate to exit. There was no instruction for cable tv and it might very well have been out of order. If you don’t require internet access and have kids, this place may be a good choice as there were playing grounds/pools.
Booked 2 bedroom spa villa. Was allocated villa 53. The place was terrible. Spa not clean, exhaust vents filthy, skirting boards mouldy and ruined, grey water seeping out of taps, doors wouldn't close, exposed nails in wardrobe, not vacuumed under furniture in a while, bathroom floors not cleaned, chocolate syrup on mirror. Got changed to another villa - 104, was more like the photos online but again floors not cleaned, spa dirty, windowsils with dead insects, old food splatter on cupboards. Not worth the price even with nice pools
Too much walking for me to get around. Good restaurant.
Beautiful little resort with the perfect beachwalk to coffs harbour. Room was clean, the resort and surroundings make it feel Fiji like
As part of a chain, inflexible corporate policies make for a rigid staff and a "cannot do that" approach.
Driving into this resort compound I thought there had been some sort of mistake. It looked much more luxurious than what I had pre-paid for our reservation! We've been staying in rather small, cramped rooms on this trip. Here we were in a full apartment with more space and accommodations than we've experienced anywhere else. At a very reasonable price -- except for the meal we had in the resort's exclusive restaurant. Oh yes, the beach out front is spectacular! The kids loved picking up many collectable smooth pebbles. Highly recommended place to visit. Wish we'd planned more than one night.
