Our room was very dated. Bathroom & shower tiles were all chipped. Fly screen ripped. AC/Heater old & dials not readable. No blanket on bed or spare in room. Tried to get another room but told they were booked out & couldnt move us. Very disappointed and will not be returning!

We stayed for a week and whilst the room was tidy, it was in desperate need of some upgrades. The bathroom was quite run down, the tiles all chipped and the shower mouldy. It did the job and was clean enough, but at that price point, it definitely deserves an overhaul.

The bathroom is in dreadful condition. Kitchen very dated. Unit not very clean. Lots of things that need fixing, painting and cleaning. A full renovation desperately needed. An extremely disappointing place and we could not recommend it nor would we return.

The property was clean and tidy. The lounge in our room needed a good clean, and there wasn’t enough blankets on the bed - we froze through the night. There is limited car spaces in the parking areas so you end up on the street or a decent walk when juggling luggage.

A brochure offering 3 nights at $299 was in the unit. I had booked and paid for 2 nights @ $342 so contacted reception to ask to add another night and have them honor the offered deal only to be told another night would cost $145. Refused to honor the advertised deal even though i was willing to have the prepaid price for 2 nights @ $342 stand with one more night added free as id paid more than the $299 deal. Wont be staying again.

The Pacific Bay Resort is located in a great location off the Pacific Highway and is close to the Big Banana in Coffs Harbour. It has pools, a spa and a few sporting facilities, which is close to Diggers beach and Park beach. The room was very clean & tidy with some amenities. It is surrounded by trees and some native wildlife and lots of birds. It was very peaceful and calming to stay there. Parking and the lift were an issue at times, as not many undercover spots are available (which are not allocated to guests) and therefore had to park outside the buildling in the open car park sometimes, which was not monitored by CCTV and was inconvenient. Not many food options available, so advisable to BYO food & drink.

It’s like a scam. The room vide was 90s and looks like never renovated. On the website the room looks newly upgraded but sadly it wasn’t. I talked to reception and he was very kind to offer to move to an another room where seemed better interior. However it wasn’t located in a same building so we decided to remain in a same room. Overall I’m so disappointed

Decent place to stay, though the rooms are very dated and in need of a modern upgrade. Easy to access from car park and quite close to the essentials like shops & restaurants. Found the bed to be very comfortable and spacious. The outside grounds are clean and offer plenty of walking space. Highly recommend a diffuser in the room as the smell of bleach is quite unpleasant when trying to settle in.
