Room was nice and clean. It seemed to me that room was remodeled recentlry. Bathroom was also clean and bright (I liked bright 5 bulbs in the bathroom especially). If I say just smalll wish to propose was somre more extra big towel in bathroom. Overall stay was good.
We knew going in this wasn't going to be any place fancy, and we were ok with that, because we saw recent reviews saying it was clean, and good for a place to sleep. for $180, we figured we'd go ahead and try since we were trying to save a little money. We got there, and even though it was a non-smoking room it smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke. The blue carpet was stained black in several places. There was a very large stain on the comforter. The bath tub was dirty, and covered in hair. There was some incredibly awful red/brown stain on the ceiling that my husband thought looked like a product of a murder scene, I voted for exorcism. There were also several bugs flying around inside the room. The whole 10 minutes we were there I sat on the edge of my bed, afraid to lay down on the pillows. My husband and I decided that this was NOT going to work, and promptly returned our keys, and ended up staying at a much nicer hotel in Spokane for the night, for the EXACT same price. When we finally got to talk to the manager (she wasn't there yesterday when we were), she informed us she would be returning our money, which is the only reason they earned one dot/star from us. The location is great, there is a Keurig in the room, those were the only positive things we can say about this place.
The location is good. Walking distance to most restaurants and the downtown waterfront. It was clean, but the carpet and furniture is a little worn and dated. Not much else to say as it was a very basic motel.
My BFF and I just needed a place for one night so we could check out Coeur D'Alene and try paddle boarding. Didn't want to spend a fortune but wanted clean, comfortable and friendly. Resort City Inn gave us all that and more! Room was very clean, beds were super comfy and the staff was so genuinely nice! My friend forgot her cell phone charger at home and her phone had died after dinner. The lovely gal on duty (You know who you are!) loaned my friend her own personal charger and just said "bring it back in the morning". Free continental breakfast and perfect downtown location. If I ever get back to Couer D'Alene I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Resort City Inn has a great location, but the facility itself is nothing more than an extremely overpriced motel. I cannot recommend staying here unless you're in a pinch, which we were. If you find yourself with no other option, make certain that you’re not booked in Room 109, which was clearly converted from an office or back room and was never intended to house paying guests. There were people stomping and dragging furniture around on the patio directly overhead at 6:45 am. The room shares a thin wall (and a locked door) with the front office, so we were able to hear every word of the conversations at the front desk and the bell that rings every time someone entered or exited. The staff was friendly enough, the room itself was about what you would expect from your average motel (worn down but more or less clean), and the continental breakfast was unremarkable. Not an absolutely horrible experience, just expensive for what it was. If you’re desperate for somewhere to stay in CDA and don’t mind paying for location rather than amenities, this place will probably suit your needs.
The bed was very comfy and the room was clean. The staff were super nice. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons...1) It is a motel and I thought it was a little over priced 2) Continental breakfast was not great.
If you're looking for a hotel in Coeur d'Alene that puts you right in the middle of things, this is it. It provides short walks to restaurants and bars and also a couple of good hikes the whole family can enjoy. The breakfast is Continental so you need to like packaged rolls and cereal. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a great find and is well priced budget accommodation. The room was a good size but the bathroom is a little cramped. I didn't bother with the breakfast but I saw other guests enjoying it. The location is great and you can walk to all the bars and eateries.
Night. On the road. We need a place to stay, but Coeur d'Alene is full of fancy resort type places... We were happy to find the Resort City Inn. Just right for an overnight. Not expensive. Comfortable. Stashed our cooler stuff in the fridge. Kicked back and relaxed. Little breakfast nook in the morning and on our way.
Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond for us. Will definitely stay here again! GREAT location! We spent our days shopping, eating, going to the lake, and it was ALL within walking distance. Lovely stay.
