Close to town

On a 10-day trip through Idaho, this was the worst place we stayed by far. We received a random call around 7pm from someone claiming to be with the hotel, saying that she was closing the lobby and needed our credit card over the phone to check us in. I never provide my credit card to anyone over the phone, but I was forced to read it out loud in a crowded public place - so inconvenient and unsafe. And who closes their lobby at 7pm??? When we arrived to the hotel around 8pm, there were no staff to greet us or help us, which was super unfortunate because there was NO shower curtain in our bathroom! It was a really uncomfortable shower trying to avoid spraying water everywhere. I texted the property, and no one ever responded. This is such a security risk to have an unstaffed property. Besides that, the room stank and the AC filter was filthy. When we left in the morning at 8am, there was still no one working there. Definitely find somewhere else to stay!

Pros: Amazing location - we walked everywhere in 5 minutes. Friendly, responsive staff Cons: Outdated, loud, $12/night for parking. The room was clean but 30 years outdated.

Wonderful property! So fun to support small businesses! Clean, amazing shower! Great location!

The staff was awesome! Location to downtown is perfect. Will stay there again.

We needed a short stopover for long trip. Office hours were different than posted on line but staff left clear in /out instructions. (Thank you!) Overall the room was very clean and comfortable (linens/vanity/bathroom)but carpet was quite stained and curtain rod needs repair. We really needed to sleep for our long trip but were not able to rest at all due to loud talking outside our room and stomping w banging directly above us ALL night - culminating with a guy banging on our door at 4 AM yelling if we could let him in! We left at 4:45 AM. Our stay would have been just fine if we could have actually slept.

We always stay here when we visit Coeur d’Alene. It’s no frills but is always clean, quiet and we walk everywhere.

Good location, filthy dirty rugs and floors, curtains falling off the rod!! Definitely needs some TLC.

Clean and super close to everything downtown. Great place to stay if you want to walk around

Friendly staff, easy check in, walking distance to area attractions
