I was in Clinton for business and stayed at the Hampton Inn. I found it very nice and clean. The staff were exceedingly friendly. The food was good and the room was comfortable. I would not have any problem staying there in the future.
Hotel was very nice. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Breakfast was average. Location was right off the interstate, making it easy to continue our travels the next day. Would stay here again at the Clinton, MO location.
Check in was very quick, room was clean and quite. The breakfast was good. Nothing stood out as exceptional. We stay at Hampton Inns often and this one was really no different from the rest. We needed a good night sleep and knew that could be achieved at a Hampton Inn.
I stayed here 1 night on points. Overall it was a nice hotel but there were some problems. The front desk person was excellent. The room was nice and clean.. The hotel was very full and there were noisy kids running thru the halls all night long. The breakfast area was too small to eat breakfast with a full hotel. I would stay here again because this was an excellent value when using points.
Very comfortable place to stay. Had other business just outside Clinton - only stayed one night - but was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just fine - staff very friendly. Appreciated the cleanliness and comfortable environment.
I saw the Hilton Sign Hampton Inn so I booked a room without thinking for a minute that there isn't any microwaves in the rooms! AND for that matter there aren't any in the hotel either. Except for the one in the kitchen that the front desk clerk was kind enough to allow us to use. The rooms and hotel was clean and neat and the rooms were comfy and I did sleep well. TV programming was ok and the wifi was good. There's an Applebee's across the lot with only 1 other hotel between so that's a plus but for a Hampton Inn, I feel they should change the name. You don't feel like you're at a Hilton when you stay here. They had a good hot breakfast but they had sliced pork sausages on the side and then they had scrambled eggs with HAM and cheese mixed in. So people who didn't eat PORK we had to go with carbs for breakfast. They PORKED the hot breakfast. The hotel next door has an experienced hospitality coordinator there. I will definitely check out the hotel next door if I'm ever in Clinton Mo again.
Why is it that some of these hotels I wake up in the middle of the night with my mouth dried like paint dry! Have to get up and get several drinks to get liquids back in my system. The breakfast seemed very limited. I tried the oatmeal, but is just tasted like mush that lost the oatmeal taste. Check-in and Check-out was quick and easy. the room was ok. Disappointed there wasn't a hot tub, but i guess I didn't read the amenities list close enough! I might consider it again next time I'm in the area!
We drive through Clinton traveling from Denver to Birmingham every month. Decided to stay here. Quite a surprise as it was clean, hallway, lobby, elevator and rooms. Employees were very friendly and informative. Breakfast was suspect as it had same old menu. Ugg Will come back. Not your typical Hampton.
Appears to be the best hotel in this small city. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and kind. Decor was a bit tired and old, shower door is straight from the hospital in the 80s. But it was clean. Notable missing features: no closets, hangers, iron in the room. Functional for my short stay on the road. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn affair, though it seems that the coffee and hot water dispenser just can't keep the liquids hot. Warm coffee/tea just missed the mark for me.
This hotel chain is great with the great aminities. However we were surprised when they did not have a guest laundry. Breakfast was great, beds very comfortable with good internet. They do have an indoor pool and exercise room which we did not use
