The room was spacious and comfortable. The toilet seat felt small and it slipped sideways.

Room was updated in a minimalist fashion (no tacky bedspreads!) and surprisingly spacious. The room and hotel were very quiet at night. Breakfast was a nice perk, though basic. Coffee and teas were appreciated. No complaints!

The hotel is undergoing a renovation. Our room was nice and clean and Newly redone. Only thing-the bathroom door wouldn’t close. The new tile was too tall and they should accommodate the length of the door & that’s an easy fix. Staff was friendly, they had good hot coffee and an excellent continental breakfast. Access to the parking area and back to the room was well lit and secure. We will stay there again when we are in the area.

Nice location to visit the Maquoketa caves the next day. It was quiet and clean. It's an old Super 8 - so for an inexpensive amount, a nice place to rest your head.

Clean hotel right off highway . Breakfast was'nt much , and the bed was very hard . Still a good place to stay.

room price was great,,clean room,,breakfast could have been better,,location of hotel was easy to get to from hiway,,enjoyed my stay there...

I didn't expect much out of this hotel, and my expectations were pretty much right on. So I wasn't too unsatisfied with the hotel considering. Check-in was fast and easy. We walked into our non-smoking room to have it wreak of smoke. I called the front desk and he got us in another available room, but it only had one bed instead of two. He brought in a roll-away bed, which didn't have a second sheet, only a blanket on top. The gentleman who helped us was really nice and attentive, no marks against him. (Except he blamed Or bitz for not relaying info to them properly to put us in a non-smoking room.) Our TV was impossible to figure out. First, you have to push volume+up and then power just to turn it on. I'm not kidding, they even had these instructions taped to the TV. Too bad they didn't explain how to change the channel, because it wouldn't change until we just pushed several buttons to get it to change... but then we couldn't change it after that. So with no swimming pool and no TV, I feel there's nothing to do at the hotel other than sleep. The way they do their breakfast is they give $3 gift cards to the next door Mc Donald's. We had two adults and our 11 year-old and they gave us two $3 gift cards. Check-out was fast and easy for us.

price was right ,room was clean dont expect any extra from staff they do just enough to get by.if your looking for some where to sleep / shower your good.

There was no coordination among the staffs. One said we get the breakfast for all 4 of us, another one gave us only 2 coupons per room, which were $4 each and valid in McDonald. The hotel doesn't have any elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage all the way up to 3 rd floor !! Don't book this if you have a better option available.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, sorry about the group of men in the parking lot. They should have been else where drinking.
