Clean rooms and spacious and food facilities within walking distance including shopping. We've stayed here several times and cannot fault it. Highly recommend The Bentley's.

Great location

The rooms were clean and tidy but very noisy from the main road. Trucks seemed to start before dawn and were quite disturbing. The food and service in the restaurant was good.

I liked the proximity to local shopping. I think parking could be improved. The staff were very friendly. The bed was very comfy, but the room although very clean, needs an upgrade.

Whilst the second night wasn't as bad, with boisterous jeering and fllthy language emanating from the outside beer garden until at least midnight, the first night's accommodation was totally and utterly 'unfit for purpose', with regards to occupying the room! After attempting to finish our well below par evening meals (lamb shank & roast lamb) we decided to retire to our room. To best describe the meals, the lamb shank was was very dry and fatty and the lamb roast tasted like it had been cooked (perhaps even boiled) hours before. Not long after returning to our room to relax and take in the ambience of all that the Clare Valley wine region has on offer, the live music fired up and continued until well after midnight. To say that the music was loud was indeed an understatment! We were involved in a spòrting event the next day in Clare. Would you believe it, the couple that we competed against were discussing how they'd had little sleep the night before. Turns out they lived about two and a half kilometres away from the Bentley hotel and were kept awake, they said until at least 1.00 am? Hopefully, some unsuspecting family wasn't booked in to stay at the Bentley Hotel in Clare and had to experience such a traumatic event. Needless to say, there will be no recommendation from us to eat, stay or even visit the Bentley Hotel in Clare!

We stayed in the Barn Room Bed was really comfy, shower was good. Only two little problems, not enough power points, had to put kettle on in bathroom and towel rack fell apart when grabbing towel. But overall was a comfortable stay and the staff are really friendly
