Due to the unforeseen epidemic and the closing of the border to US citizens we were unable to stay at the hotel. We prepaid for our room well before the epidemic and we were never rebursed for our room.

Convient location to the port. Misuderstandings were cleared up quickly.

Room was rundown. I made reservation 10 months earlier and was given room on 1st floor facing back of hotel. I asked to change rooms but was told hotel was full.

Pro: Good location. train station, beach, centre of the city all with in short walking distance. Cons: buffet is very limited. Shuttle to cruise ship is not complementary. (10euro per person) Not a 4star hotel

Great place to stay if you're going on a cruise.

Nice location near the port beach and restaurants

We took advantage of the shuttle service from FCO airport and to the ship which worked out well. The room was adequate, the breakfast very nice. The hotel is close to shops & restaurants. We would stay there again.

Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable room.

The San Giorgio is a short walk from the Civitavecchia train station. The hotel offers a drop off bus service to the piers. My rear-facing single room was quiet, and the renovated bathroom was very nice with ample hot water and shelf space. The room lacked free electrical outlets, but there's a shaver outlet in the bathroom I used to keep my 'phone charged. Drinks in the bar were large and well priced. The included breakfast ran to many sweet rolls, cold cuts and cheese, and bacon and eggs. The wi-fi was abysmal and inadequate to the number of guests. On the one occasion I got on line I was bounced off mid-email. The staff were most helpful, but rather insistent that the wi-fi worked, when, plainly, it didn't.

Only 7 minute walk to the cruise terminal entrance this was a great location before a cruise. We also rented a car and Hertz is a 2 minute walk away. Staff was great, room clean and modern, and best thing was location. While expensive, the convience of being able to walk to the cruise terminal shuttle was worth it.

The hotel was obviously a beautiful building in its time, and still is very nice though could use a little updating. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom. We had the ocean view, and it was definitely worth the price. The included breakfast had a large variety and was tasty. The staff were helpful though they didn't seem to understand that we wanted to venture into the city when we asked for restaurant recommendations. The PIccadilly restaurant on-site does have delicious desserts for a reasonable price.

Not much to do in civitavecchia, but this hotel is a very comfortable place to spend A night. We leu and neat.

Conveniently located to Cruise Port. Nice Hotel. Had an excellent dinner (on outside patio). Service was good. Hotel has a shuttle to the cruise boat. When the shuttle had a mechanical failure, the hotel responded quickly with backup vans and provided complimentary champagne during the brief wait.

They moved us to another cheaper hotel at the last minute and it was terrible. Poor service and nothing was open. They compted some people supper but not everyone including us. We had to pay and other guests didn’t. They had pictures of the amenities and none were open. The pool was disgusting.

Dear Bob, we are sorry to read that you did not fully enjoy your stay. Regarding your request to have a sea view free of charge, this was not beassible beacuse all the rooms were occupaied and the other guest paid for the seaview. If this aspect it is so important for you, we suggest you for the futur to book a seaview room. Arrivederci
