Moved to another property down the block although we booked this property months in advance. Notified a couple if days before the reservation citing problems with the online booking system. This seemed to happen to a few people that we met at this hotel. This is not okay and very stressful when planning a trip. The new property was fine but. Aused unnecessary confusion.

Clean and Convenient

Stayed here after an overnight flight from the US prior to our cruise boarding the next afternoon. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They kindly arranged a private car from the airport (shout out to Luca for his excellent service). Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect with countless restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and bars within easy walking distance. The walk to our ship is 20 minutes. Highly recommend this lovely place.

The staff was amazing and the room was big and clean. It's a little less than 10 minute walk from the train station and about 15 minute walk from the port, so right in the middle. It's just a few steps off the main road and inside a building with other businesses in it. It's just up one flight of stairs or you can take the small elevator to floor 1. The area is nice and there are plenty of restaurants and shops along the main road. The water is just across the street and is a beautiful area to walk around. The staff really was the stand out for the stay, they explained everything to us and allowed us to keep our bags there the next day after check out because we don't board our cruise until the afternoon. They also can call to have someone take you to the port terminal for just 10 euro per person. I really enjoyed my night here and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Civitavecchia.

Centrally located, friendly staff. Thin walls so a bit noisy at night. Nice outdoor terrace to sit or eat at. Comforter not large enough for king bed. Breakfast very simple but convenient.

7 Bells House is a cute hotel in a great location. Hotel room was spacious and quiet, bed is comfortable, A/C was strong. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing. The hotel is centrally located, and we enjoyed walking around and exploring Civitavecchia. We were able to check in earlier than most hotels, which was great because we arrived directly from a red-eye flight and were tired. Stefano and his staff were very helpful, including giving us restaurant recommendations and offering to call us a taxi to the port the day we were leaving. Good communication from staff prior to our arrival as well. We had a great stay and plan to be stay again the next time we are in Civitavecchia and will be recommending to friends. The room was nice. Everything we needed. Price was reasonable. One of the owners was there all the time, and he was very nice and helpful. He spoke pretty good English, which was nice, because I do not speak Italian. We stayed there for one night before getting on a cruise ship. This place is a good option for that. The owner also helped us get a ride to from the hotel to the ship. This place is located near many restaurants which you can walk to. Very pleasant stay.

great location. Nice hotel, little tricky to find

The hotel is a short walk from the train station. Was a little hard to find as it has a tiny little sign on the big door a bit like you find on a block of units. once in the door you go up the little lift to the 1st floor and to the right you have a door you press the buzzer and you will be let in. The receptionist didnt under stand english the best. We had booked a room with 2 beds as we didnt want to sleep in same bed and was told there was a plumbing issue and she showed us a 1 bed small room when we said we were not happy she called her boss who said he would come at 5pm. When he arrived he said he moved us as he had over booked I said how is that my fault. I prob would have been more understanding if they had not lied in the 1st instance with saying there was a plumbing problem. After to and froing he put us int he room we had booked over 6months earlier. Once settled in the room it was spacious and everything we had expected. good water pressure in the bathroom. Breakfast is available but we didn't book it. But from what I saw it was your basic breakfast to start your day. There is a nice balcony to sit on and enjoy the breeze. It was a little noisy at night so if your a light sleeper pop on your headphones. Beds were comfortable. Would recommend. Just note to owner and staff just be honest next time you over book rooms.

BOOK THIS ONE!!

This hotel was amazing, if your looking for a clean safe place this is it. Close to the port for the cruisers and the train station is about 10 min walk and it’s about 45 min train ride to Rome!!! Customer service was amazing and the city is beautiful lots of restaurant and a beautiful Terrace to seat and enjoy your morning coffee/tea. BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL you will not be disappointed.

Outstanding, well located hotel with spacious room

The hotel building is located right at the start of the port area opposite Mcdonalds. It has easy access to the beach and the port, and the local town. The room itself was great, we had two opening Juliet Balcony doors onto the hotels veranda. The bathroom was brilliant and had everything you needed. The check in was swift, the hotel checked with me beforehand to see when I will arrive and was there to greet us. The local area was busy the night we stayed, we came back and sat out on the veranda for a while before going to bed. The room was quiet. I would stay in this hotel again. Thank you for the lovely stay

My 3 daughters and myself stood in this property for 1 night after coming back from a cruise. Dont get me wrong the area was great with a lot of shopping and restaurants around. The beach is also very close. What ruin the whole experience was the bed bug that was on one of the beds. My daughter woke up in the middle of the night screaming cause it was a bug on the bed and bit her. Would not stay here again. Hate that i can post the picture of the bites or the video and hat we even more their reactions when i told them and showed them the video like thry had no clue what i was talking about. They did nothing about it.
