The perfect weekend away

The photos don’t do justice to Honeysuckle House. The kitchen is perfect for gathering for coffee and breakfast in the morning or wine and dinner in the evening, the living room is cosy but spacious too. All the beds and bathrooms were beautifully clean and wonderfully comfy. The decorations throughout the house are so fun. We had a dog with us and it was totally secure at the back too which was great. Nice and quiet with lovely walks from the house. Great location to explore the Cotswolds and we had a gorgeous sunny walk to the source of the Thames. Great restaurants nearby too. Thoroughly recommend.

3 night stay

We had a fab time at Honeysuckle House - every year 4 uni friends and our partners rent somewhere for the weekend - this year we had 3 babies in tow. The house was perfect for what we wanted - a massive kitchen with a great island to congregate around and a huge dining table. Micki the host was really helpful and we had a lovely weekend.

Lovely house and surroundings

The house and surroundings are beautiful. The only negative thing was the choice of artwork wasn’t appropriate for young children and should have been mentioned in the listing.

10 Go Wild in the Cotswolds

A family get together in an amazing house in a great location. The trampoline is a brilliant idea for the children (and adults !) Honeysuckle House - can't fault it .

What a beautiful house

Thanks for such a lovely stay. We stayed as part of a family friendly hen party, with a couple of children too. The house was really clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed for the weekend. We used the dining space the most which is just beautiful! Thanks again Micki :)

Great house for a family celebration. The outside space is lovely especially if you have kids

Well equipped but a shame that the hot water doesn't last for 10 showers. Smoke alarm in laundry room needs fixing as it continuously beeps

Lovely cottage in Ewen, a village we spent much time in when the Wild Duck was open. It was in good condition and there was a great Christmas decorations and a tree that greeted us. It was a tight squeeze for 11 (including 3 under 12) as the sitting room could really only sit 6, and there was only one bathroom upstairs servicing the four bedrooms apart from the master ensuite. It would have worked if the bottom bedroom had not been closed off by the landlord, as this was adjacent to another bathroom. Great that it had two fridges and big lovely open kitchen, and seating for ten, and a boot room for wellies etc. Only real issue was the lack of contact with either the landlord or StayCotswolds. I think if you offer rentals over the xmas period, there should be someone there to give customer service.

Fantastic Property!

This was the perfect house for our weekend away - Micki has made the property truly perfect and it's ideal for 10 guests to relax and enjoy! Everything was extremely clean and well maintained and we would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful stay in The Cotswolds.

Lovely stay in a great location

We had a lovely family gathering at Honeysuckle House. The house felt like a real home and had everything you need. It’s in a great location with lots of attractions within easy reach. Would definitely recommend.
