Perched on the water's edge, Lapwing Lake Lodge is a chic New England-style retreat with plenty of room for six plus pooch. The pretty clapper board-style exterior and fantastic water-front setting make a brilliant first impression. The convenience of the location within steps of a family-friendly lakeside bar, brasserie, gym and a great children's play area come a close second.

Located on Spring Lake, our lake house has prime position in the Cotswold Water Park, one of the best kept secrets of Gloucestershire! One of 150 lakes in an area the size of Jersey, there's so much to explore and something for everyone. Wildlife, water sports, activities, great eateries, walking, history and culture are just some of the things you will find nearby.

The lake house itself has been stylishly renovated to mirror its setting, offering super lake views from inside and out. Downstairs, it's fully open plan complemented by stunning bi-folding doors that stretch across the back of the house. They ensure the house is filled with calm and tranquil light whilst showing the lake off in all its charming glory.

An ever changing picture of water-skiers, swans and rippling water can be enjoyed from the comfort of the sofa, or fold the doors back and the living area takes on a new and exciting feel. The outside space becomes an extension to the house, providing the perfect spot for sizzling steaks on the barbecue. Or simply sitting back to enjoy lakeside life while your own hot tub bubbles invitingly and watch the world go by.

Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with a 5' bed and full length window overlooking the lake, allowing you the same stunning views. There are two further twin/double bedrooms with 5' zip and link beds and a family bathroom. Extra care has been taken for families, and you will find lots of special touches around the house if you are planning on taking the little ones.

THE LAYOUT
Ground floor:
Open plan living space with sitting and dining areas seating six. Bifold doors open out onto a private deck with superb lake views.
A U-shaped kitchen with breakfast bar and stools is set slightly apart from the living area.

First floor:
Master bedroom with 5′ king size bed, wardrobe and a pretty Juliette balcony with amazing views over the lake. There is also room for a cot.
Bedroom 2: Double/twin bedroom with 5' zip and link bed. A tight space with limited storage.

There are neighbours so we operate a good neighbour policy and state that noise must be kept to a minimum outside after 10.30pm and that guests should always respect the neighbours' peace
Minimum stay 2 nights, except High seasons which are a minimum 3 nights (Fri-Sun) and 4 nights (Mon-Thurs)
The property is based on a lakeside and also has a covered hot tub in the deck, please ensure children are supervised at all times
Please note: Lapwing Lake Lodge is situated on a water ski lake and watersport sessions can start at 9am and end at 7.50pm during high season. The perfect location for a family activity holiday and adrenaline seekers, there is an international half-mile-long water-ski course, wakeboarding and inflatable rides to enjoy
